Cafide C
afide is a sustainable pet accessories brand founded by two partners, Jordi and Kevin in Barcelona in 2021. The brand was born with the aim of offering a product alternative for pets, mostly dogs, who feel they are activists. They understand that if we could ask our dogs, they would all answer yes to the question of whether they are activists. The brand wants to eradicate the nonvegetarian product in this sector, because they do not understand that one animal should die so that another can have a leather collar.
In addition, the designs are made with ethical and sustainable materials, such as FSC wood or corn plastic. Among the most outstanding accessories, they have a bed that is made from 74 recycled plastic bottles or the Gala harness.
"We also like craftsmanship and we have presented a collection of ceramic feeding troughs made by a workshop in Portugal," Jordi tells DOGGY!
Quality is a great value for the brand, as it ensures that a product has a long shelf life and therefore prevents it from entering recycling cycles too quickly. The brand donates 1% of its profits to animal rights associations such as PETA. The name is the sum of CA and FIDE, which comes from the Latin cattus or canis (cat or dog) and fidelitas (fidelity). João Mota, Portuguese actor and celebrity, has a great passion for dogs and reveals himself to the DOGGY team. We decided to interview João to find out how he feels about canine love and what is the special feeling of having the opportunity to be in the furry company of two Jack Russel's Terriers. Find out if he identifies with the love and mutual connection that the Influencer and the 2 best friends have.
What does joão see in dogs?
"I see a living being that asks for very little in return for the good it does us. It's a form of love, unconditional, difficult to explain to someone who has never had a dog," confesses João, demonstrating the unconditional love that the actor feels for his two best friends!
Is there a history of living with dogs? If you had one as a child, if it was just a passion as an adult...?
João Mota told DOGGY that he has felt this strong relationship since he was a child, and that it is not just a dedication of an adult phase: "I have always had dogs, since I was a child. As I've matured, I've enjoyed their company more and more".

DOGGY decided to interview Ginny's ownerYamila - who tells us that today's owners think that in order to give the best to our pets, we must give them the best accessories from the best brands, for example the best beds, collars, the best snacks... although Yamila has a completely different opinion on the matter.
"And I think we are very wrong about that. For me the most valuable thing we can give our animals is time outdoors with us" - says Yamila in our interview. Ginny and her guardian believe that the best moments are spent with joy and love through games, walks, hikes, time in the sun or, why not, under the rain ..... Taking them to places where they can run, get dirty, explore their abilities....

Cook with melo
Cook with Melo took place in September 2022 through the experience of the first recipe which, when it was shared on social networks, caused a lot of talk. The "COOK WITH MELO" section was created with the aim of showing the public that it is possible to create our own biscuits at home, in a homemade, creative and economical way.
It consists of encouraging people to bake our delicious sweets with ingredients they have at home. They are easy and dynamic recipes that anyone can make. Because cooking is caring... is passion!
