Transparency with customers is one of the core values of Joseph Connor, DVM, owner of JF Connor Consulting, LLC. His practice is 100% swine focused with both domestic and international clients. Dr. Connor works with about 500,000 sows and corresponding growing pigs. During his career, he was instrumental in developing a management and research integrated pork system involving 150 family owners.

Dr. Connor has been practicing veterinary medicine in the same practice in Carthage, Illinois, for the past 44 years. His passions include production, population medicine, and pathogen elimination. He enjoys interacting with producers as a typical day consists of on-farm visits and phone calls.

Dr. Connor was inspired to become a veterinarian by his local veterinarian and highlights the great opportunities for family and business that come with rural veterinary medicine practice.
