CAPITOL REEF BALLROOM

Host your event in the Capitol Reef Ballroom for groups up to 600 for a seated meal or up to 1,000 guests theater style. There is plenty of room to hold a wedding ceremony and reception, or mix and mingle for your birthday or corporate event.

The Capitol Reef Ballroom divides into three spaces Arches, Canyons and Bryce, providing flexible options for all group sizes.

LODGE ROOMS

The property offers seven Lodge Rooms, which are divided by airwall or can open for flexible, continuous space Alta, Brighton, Snowbird, Powder Mountain, Solitude, Sundance, and Deer Valley. Each space provides custom setting options to fit every event and group.

ORION & NORTH STAR

These spaces are adjoined by a common entrance to provide dedicated office, breakout, or work rooms for your group.

ZION

This open space is a perfect transitional space for meals, breaks, receptions, team-building, tradeshows, exhibits, and registration.

Price per drink is dependent on the bar level you select (see next page). General pricing ranges from $8-9 for beer and seltzers, $14-17 for wine, $13-16 for most mixed drinks, and $6 for sodas and $3 bottled water. Specialty items available upon request.

On-site Audio Visual offers the convenience and expertise of in-house audio visual support to ensure your meeting is a complete success. Your Catering Manager can offer a current menu of available options upon request.

MARRIOT BONVOY

You will earn 2 points per dollar spent, up to 60,000 points per event on eligible room, food, beverages, and audio/visual charges. Points will be processed at the conclusion of your event. MEAL & EVENT TIMES

Lunches are served between 11am and 4pm. Dinners are served between 4pm and 10pm. Breakfast and lunch buffets are served for up to 90 (ninety) minutes. Receptions and dinner buffets are served for up to two (2) hours. Due to health regulations and quality concerns, items from a buffet cannot be served during mid -morning, afternoon, or evening breaks. Items from buffets cannot be taken off property. Menu items and program details are due a minimum of twenty-one (21) business days prior to event.

SERVICE CHARGE, TAX & FEES

Prices are subject to service charge (24%), and local and state taxes (8.75%). Tax and service charge are subject to change without prior notice.

OUTSIDE CATERING

All food and beverage served at functions associated with the Event must be provided, prepared, and served by Hotel, and must be consumed on Hotel premises.

We welcome outside caterers who fulfill ethnic and religious culinary needs. Inquire with our event team to customize your wedding’s menu in partnership with custom Kosher, Hallal, or South Asian caterers. Certificate of Liability Insurance and prior approval is required from all outside vendors before the client contracts with them.

PARKING

The Hotel offers parking for a fee. The daily parking rate is $15. The hourly parking rate is $5 for the first two hours, $8 for up to 10 hours. Parking is not included in the room rate.

Vehicles must be parked in designated spaces in a safe and legal manner. The Hotel is not responsible for any damage to vehicles while they are parked on Hotel property.

Hotel does not have storage space for crates, pallets, or large shipments. Any materials to be sent to Hotel may not arrive earlier than 3 business days prior to arrival. A handling and storage fee of $5 per box/item, $50 for large items, and $100 per crate will be assessed. Hotel will not be responsible for any loss or damage to materials sent to Hotel 3 days prior to arrival date.

CONTRACTS, DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS

A signed contract is due to secure the date. Following your detailing appointment, you will receive an event order summarizing the details of your event. Your final head count is due 14 business days prior to your event.

We accept certified checks or credit cards as method of payment. Personal checks are not accepted within 14 business days of the event. Please make all checks payable to the Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel.

GROUP ROOM RATES

Your sales manager can facilitate a group room rate for qualifying groups. The hotel provides a custom booking link for your group’s guests to easily book their own stays with us at the group rate prior to the group cutoff date.

TRAVEL

Located in downtown Salt Lake City, the hotel is a 15minute drive to the Salt Lake City International Airport and one block away from the TRAX stop 451.

VENDORS

Outside vendors are allowed to provide any goods or services at Hotel during the Event. Hotel may, in its sole discretion, require that such vendor provide Hotel, in form and amount reasonably satisfactory to Hotel, an indemnification agreement and proof of adequate insurance.
