ISOM LOWMAN Atlanta Franchisee Isom Lowman and his team partnered with Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms & the Ludacris Foundation to distribute 3000 brand new pairs of athletic shoes to the most vulnerable members of the community – the youth, the homeless, and senior citizens. His team personally donated 100 pairs of Air Jordans and gave 30% off to people who purchased shoes for this campaign. They also received a medal from the Mayor’s Office for their support in helping the community.

BEASTMODE ARRIVES
Our hometown, Atlanta, GA, was the host for Superbowl LIII and what better way to celebrate than to do a Pop Up with the one and only Beast-mode, Marshawn Lynch, in not one but two of our locations. On Friday, February 1st, Beastmode made his presence at The Athlete’s Foot Atlantic Station followed by The Athlete’s Foot West End on Satur-day, February 2nd. The two days consisted of autograph signings, pictures, Hot 107.9 radio remote with live call-ins, giveaways, a gaming truck and entertainment from Dragon House dancers. The energy and excitement made for a great community event as kids and adults of all ages came out to see one of their football idols.

NBA ALL-STAR WEEKEND
One of our newest stores in Southpark Mall played host to several activations throughout the weekend. It was by far the most electric store in the mall with DJ’s spinning all weekend. Celebrities from sports analyst Stephen A. Smith to rapper Slim Jxmmi from the duo Rae Sremmurd made their way in to do some shopping. The weekend kicked off with an AND1 Pop Up and an appearance by NBA legend, Kevin Garnett. The activation consisted of an AND1 jersey customization station, AND1 mixtape giveaway, and DJ set creating that vibe. KG conducted a question and answer session hosted by AND1 mixtape creator, Set Free. The day ended with autographs and pictures. Plus we supported AND1’s paint the park initiative, refurbishing a local basketball court and community celebration. We continued to celebrate All-Star weekend with the launch of Puma Hoop’s Uproar, along with Charlotte colorways of the Palace Guard in hi and low. The celebration was exactly that with champagne flowing, custom Puma desserts, DJ set, step-n-repeat photo ops, and a live painting. The celebration was hosted by local influencer, Sport E Odie. The hype was real in Charlotte and we were happy to set the backdrop for a great weekend. All-Star Weekend 2020 in Chicago…here we come!

1ST ANNUAL
TAF B-BALL On Tuesday, March 12th, the game of all games took place. The ďŹ rst ever TAF franchisor vs franchisee basketball challenge. The game was intense as both teams battled to be the victor. There are still debates as to which team actually won. The only thing to do now is to have a rematch. Special thanks to our oďŹƒcial referee, Jordan rep, Larry Harper and our play-by-play commentator, Nike rep, Grayson Patten. Thanks to New Balance rep, Lamar Hall, adidas rep, David Stovall, and Reebok rep, Justin Benoit for the fan support and inspiration (we know you all got a good laugh). A big shout out and thanks to special invited guest, Jordan Director, Tonia Jones!!!
