D Magazine s Debra DeLain to ta D Magazine: How long have you been designing your own pieces? Debra DeLain: About 25 years D Magazine: What got you interested in jewelry design? Debra DeLain: When I was in high school, I really enjoyed going to antique malls and flea markets and looking at all the different types of beads. I began taking some pieces apart and just playing with all the different styles to make. D Magazine: What’s your favorite part about making jewelry? Debra DeLain: I like seeing peoples reactions when they see my jewelry and find a piece that they like, or hearing that they wear it a lot.

D Magazine: Do you sell your work at any galleries? Debra DeLain: Craft(s) Gallery in Louisville, Kentucky and Nunnally’s Framing and Gallery on Noble St. in Anniston, Alabama. I also sell my pieces at a few winter markets and craft fairs. D Magazine: Where else can we find your pieces for sale?
