Hey, Blue Devils! Happy Holidays! I hope you had a relaxing break for Thanksgiving and I know you’re just as excited as I am for Winter Break! As we approach the holidays, it’s important to remember to help those in need. Our neighbors up north in Butte County are still recovering from the catastrophic Camp Fire, the deadliest fire in California history. This month, take some time to think about all the things you may take for granted the roof over your head, warm clothing, food on the table. Many children and their families here in the Bay Area and in Northern California cannot take these same things for granted. That’s why, as servant leaders, it is our job to help those in need. This December, hold a food drive! Help out at your local food bank. Collect donations for the Red Cross, as well as our preferred charities such as the Pediatric Trauma Program and Children’s Miracle Network. Go big. Go all out. This is not to say that we should only help others during the holiday season in fact, the opposite is true; families in need don’t receive the attention and aid they deserve throughout the rest of the year. Please continue to help the needy year round. I hope you have a safe and happy holiday season! See you soon, Blue Devils! Yours in Service,

A LETTER FROM YOUR DNE

Hey Blue Devils ! I hope the school year is treating you well so far !! I can’t believe we’re already more than halfway through the term. I also can’t believe this is the seventh issue of the seventh volume !! Fun Fact : 7 is my favorite / lucky number (: This issue features Fall Rally North, the usual Devil’s Golden Cup standings, and a few highlights from the district newsletter (you can find the full version on the CNH Cyberkey) ! Hopefully you’ve paid your dues by now, today is the final deadline to be considered On Time and officially registered to be a member of the 20182019 term. You must also be a dues-paid member to attend DCON (this year’s theme is Service in Wonderland!!). Just as LTG Justin mentioned, remember to continue helping those in need and to be grateful for the things we may take for granted. There will be many service events this month, so be sure to help out our community !! As always, thank you for all the love and support on the newsletters !! Continue sending in articles and visuals to your club editors, they might get featured in upcoming newsletters (: See you next time !! Sparkling with Service,

At Fall Rally North, I had the opportunity to meet Key Clubbers from all over California, Nevada, and Hawaii. I also got to bond with members from my own club. My friends and I met these amazing people from D7S in Sacramento. We

went on rides with them and had a great time together. I am so fortunate to meet all these new people and form amazing bonds and friendships with them. Aside from the attractions, the rally part was a big Key Club memory for me. This was my first time attending FRN and the cheering was one of my favorite parts of the day. I loved cheering with my

D26S family even though we didn’t get the spirit stick. Lunch was also really great because I got to talk to people from my own division that I haven’t talked to much before. Everyone was so kind to me at FRN and it made me love Key Club even more than I already do.

You can’t lie, FRN is one of the most exciting and fun events that Key Club has to offer! You’re having fun while also having the opportunity to support PTP. I got to take pictures and videos for memories. I also met new people and got closer to others. My friends

and I went on a few rides, but 2 of us had to wait 2 hours for the other 3 to go on Superman. Well, her and I did end up getting fries so it made us feel a little better. FRN really is a day to remember. I could definitely feel all the spirit from everyone who came out. I think I can speak for

everyone else, Fall Rally North is something you don’t want to miss out on because you’re making lasting memories but also a lasting impact by supporting the Pediatric Trauma Program!
