KEEPING FIT WITH Rj Strong Mind, Strong Body! Have you ever wondered what makes someone good at what they do? Whether it be in health and fitness or life in general, what makes it easy for some people to accomplish their goals, and harder for others? The simple answer is, to be successful at anything, your mind needs to be just as strong, if not stronger than your body. Just like lifting weights will strengthen your muscles, mental strength can be developed by adopting a few of the following principles; • Welcoming positive change and being flexible. • Living for the present and planning for the future. • Accepting responsibility for your behaviour and using failure as an opportunity to grow and improve. • Appreciating and celebrating other people’s successes. Instead of feeling jealous of other people’s achievements, recognise their hard work, and be willing to work hard for your own chance at success. Happy Training!
