What a month to remember at Del Webb Fulshear, filled with laughter, music, and community connection. From sunup to sundown, our calendar was bursting with fun activities, neighborly gatherings, and moments that truly brought our community closer together.
We kicked things off on a high note with our spirited First Friday Breakfast, where neighbors caught up over coffee, fresh pastries, and friendly conversation. This monthly favorite continues to be a great way to start the month with warmth and connection.
Next up, Karaoke Night stole the spotlight! Residents wowed the crowd with everything from soulful ballads to upbeat crowd-pleasers. The energy in the room was electric, with cheers, applause, and unforgettable performances that had everyone smiling.
Our beloved Win-Go Bingo! returned with lots of laughter, exciting wins, and plenty of playful rivalry. With fabulous prizes and a packed house, this event once again proved to be a community staple.
Mid-month, the clubhouse transformed into a charming pop-up market for our Stroll & Shop Market. Residents enjoyed browsing handcrafted goods, homemade treats, and unique gifts while supporting local artisans. It was the perfect mix of shopping and socializing.
The highlight of the month was our Wildflowers & Wranglers End of Rodeo Party! The Cool Water Band kept the dance floor lively with country hits, while Dozier’s BBQ satisfied everyone’s

Texas-sized appetites. With boots scootin’ and hats high, the rodeo spirit was alive and well.
We closed the month with a relaxing and soul-soothing Fireside Friday, featuring John Steele. His smooth vocals and acoustic charm created the perfect ambiance under the stars, as residents gathered around fire pits to unwind and share stories.
March reminded us that the heart of our community isn’t just in the events—it’s in the people who come together to enjoy them. Here's to more memories and moments in the months ahead!

THE HEAT IS COMING – STAY
Texas spring is beautiful, but it also brings rising temperatures. Staying hydrated isn’t just about comfort—it’s essential for your health and well-being.
Dehydration can lead to fatigue, headaches, and even serious medical issues, especially for active adults. As we head into warmer days, keep these tips in mind:
• Drink Water Consistently: Don’t wait until you’re thirsty. Keep a refillable bottle with you and sip throughout the day.
• Eat Water-Rich Foods: Cucumbers, melons, oranges, and strawberries are hydrating and delicious additions to your meals.
• Avoid Excess Caffeine & Alcohol: These can dehydrate you, especially when you’re outdoors.
• Take Breaks: If you're gardening, walking, or enjoying events outside, make sure to take breaks in the shade or indoors.
Being proactive about hydration helps you stay energized, alert, and ready to enjoy all the fun activities here at Fulshear!

HURRICANE PREPAREDNESS
Hurricane season may officially begin in June, but the best time to prepare is now. Taking proactive steps today can help you protect your home, your loved ones, and your peace of mind during a weather emergency.
Even if you've experienced hurricanes before, each season brings unique challenges. Preparedness reduces stress and gives you the confidence to act when it matters most. Here’s an expanded guide to help you stay ready:
• Have a Plan: Talk with your household about what to do during a hurricane. Know your evacuation routes, designate a meeting place if separated, and update your emergency contacts. Create a communication plan to check in with loved ones.
• Stock Up Early: Don't wait until a storm is in the forecast. Assemble your emergency kit with essentials: at least 3 days’ worth of bottled water, canned or non-perishable food, a manual can opener, first aid supplies, extra batteries, flashlights, medications, face masks, sanitation items, and pet supplies. Keep copies of important documents in a waterproof container.
• Stay Informed: Sign up for weather alerts and monitor reliable sources such as the National Weather Service and local emergency management. Consider purchasing a battery-powered weather radio to stay informed even if power goes out.
• Secure Outdoor Items: Patio furniture, planters, and decorations can become hazardous in strong winds. Bring them indoors or tie them down securely before a storm arrives.
• Protect Your Home: Inspect your property for vulnerable areas. Trim trees and bushes, clean out gutters, and consider installing storm shutters. If you have a generator, test it now and review safe usage practices.
• Check on Your Neighbors: Some residents may need assistance with preparing their homes or may be unaware of approaching weather. A friendly check-in can go a long way and help ensure everyone is cared for.
Let’s work together to ensure Del Webb Fulshear remains a place of safety, support, and readiness. A little preparation today can make all the difference tomorrow.
