The visit of the Indian Prime Minister to the Sultanate of Oman and subsequent meeting of the Hon’ble Prime Minister with His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, has given a fresh impetus for further strengthening the already existing bilateral motives of both the countries especially in the field of culture, defence, education, health, infrastructure, food security, fisheries and cyber security etc. Oman is the first country in GCC to institute a robust defence and security cooperation mechanism with India.
