In our Spring issue, Bishop Mulvey explains how Jesus is present in the Word of God. In his section, “Jesus says,” Father Brady Williams, from the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, reflects on the meaning one of the fundamental paradoxes of Christianity. In “Woman of Strength,” we feature the story of Mother Margaret Mary Healey Murphy, a dynamic woman in South Texas who followed the guidance of the Holy Spirit and did not let minor setbacks keep her from aiding the poor, neglected and sick. We also feature Avery Rodriguez, a recent graduate from TAMUCC, who shares her faith through art, and Delbert and Hedy Hooper, who share the secret of a successful marriage. We also highlight Music Director Steve Cortinas from St. Philip the Apostle, Father Patrick Higgins from Our Lady of Assumption Parish and Chris Bryan from St. Pius X Catholic School. Bishop also prepares us for the June 24-25 Eucharistic Congress 2022 in the second of three talks on the Eucharist.
