MEET THE CAST

(WE’RE PRETTY GREAT)
 BRIAN FINNERTY

Brian F. Finnerty is happy to be back on The Bazaar stage and even happier that you’re here! Brian works at The Players Centre as social media manager and an instructor at The Players Studio, where he touches the hearts of three children and tries his best to not traumatize them. Brian is a Handy Award Winner and Luke is not. Direction credits include Head Over Heels, SHOUT! The Mod Musical, and Hello, Dolly! His greatest and most offensive production to date was his 2003 one-man, self-directed, extremely whitewashed, living room production of The Wiz, where he played all the characters. Hopefully this will top that. Love to my parents for still coming to these. Love to Amanda for seeing me for more than my physique and classic charm. And thanks to Michelle because she’s Michelle.

LUKE MANUAL MCFATRICH

Luke is so thrilled to be a part of this exciting project with some super exciting people, like Michelle! By day, he is a staff member and instructor at the illustrious Venice Theatre. By night, he’s here singing songs and acting stupid. He’s also a music director, voice/acting coach, improv director, podcast co-host, MBA candidate, curly hair-grower, and Jessica-lover. His favorite credits include: Head Over Heels (Pythio), Hello, Dolly! (Barnaby), Peter & the Starcatcher (Bumbrake/Teacher), The Drowsy Chaperone (George), and a one-man production of The Call of the Wild which he adapted from the Jack London novel.

MICHELLE KASANOFSKY Michelle is the most prolific music

director and pianist in the entire state of Florida and the world, so she has no idea why she is here with these two lunatics (and the puppet). It’s a paycheck gig, what can you say? Her favorite shows she has worked on include Honk! the Musical and A Christmas Story, the Musical. In her free time she loves posing for pictures at her kids’ weddings, unclogging her husband Neil’s toilet, and being basically the best human being who has ever existed.

COAL

Coal The Non-Binary Christmas Monster is so thrilled to be back on the stage after sitting in the back of Brian’s closet for fifteen years. Their favorite stage credits include The Last Five Years, Next
to Normal, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, and Our Town where they played both Emily Webb and George Gibbs in a production Jay Handelman described as “unnecessary.” In their free time, they like to read John Grisham novels, write Harry Potter fan-fiction, play the melodica (mouth piano), and dream of a better, more satisfying life. “Love to the fam!”

THE PROJECT

Dingbat Theatre Project, established in 2020, is a collective of theatre artists dedicated to the creation and development of dynamic and boldly imaginative theatrical productions. Dingbat’s belief is that great storytelling and, by extension, theatre comes from imagination and a desire to play. Each production Dingbat Theatre Project brings to the stage, from newly imagined classics to original pieces, will reflect this urge to engage in theatre in a creative and surprising way.

audience guide

follow these tips if you want to survive

keep your mask over your nose and mouth at all times, unless you are actively eating or drinking. we don’t wanna see yo nasty mouth anyway, but you can see ours. :) please maintain a physical distance of six feet or more between yourself and other parties. screaming “stay away” really loud while hysterically crying, is a great way to accomplish this. please silence your cell phones, put them on do not disturb, or just turn them off and refrain from using them during the performance. remember, we can see you. heh. roasted. just like a chestnut on an open fire. buy some food at hamlet’s eatery! you don’t even have to eat it, just buy some. you can also drop it off by our dressing room, we accept donations. clap and laugh whenever you feel the urge to. please, we are insecure. we need the immediate feedback. seriously, even if you hate THE SHOW JUST ACT LIKE YOU LOVE US ON THE OUTSIDE. OKAY THANKS. no flash photography during the performance. we get enough paparazzi in our daily lives, we just want to have fun tonight. leave us alone! we’re normal people just like you! LOL. JK. You can take pics, just no flash please. #liveholidayjamboree2020 GO UP TO THE SOUND AND LIGHT GUYS IN THE BACK AND SOLEMNLY SAY “THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE.” SERIOUSLY, PLEASE DO IT. THEY WILL LOVE IT. IF YOU DO IT, WE WILL KNOW YOU READ THIS WHOLE AUDIENCE GUIDE AND WE WILL BE SO GRATEFUL. WHAT A FUN CHRISTMAS GIFT THAT WOULD BE! DROP SOME CHEDDAR, AND BY CHEDDAR WE MEAN CASH, IN OUR TIP JARS. WE LOVE THE APPLAUSE SERIOUSLY, WE REALLY DO. CASH IS NICE TOO. WE ALSO ACCEPT STEAK-N-SHAKE GIFT CARDS, LETTERS OF ENCOURAGEMENT, AND BRIBES.
