“We have an incredible team that loves to build homes. You can see that love in the final product.” — Chad Cahill

C

ahill Homes was built on the principles of honesty, integrity and building the best home in Central Florida. From its inception in 1977 to now, the Cahill Homes team has always made decisions with these key principles as the main focus. Purchasing a custom home is a significant investment and decision for families. The Cahill Homes team believes that having a mutual trust and understanding of expectations is key in any relationship — especially when building a home. Cahill Homes President, Chad Cahill, works with each homeowner to build that trust and set solid and accurate expectations, prior to starting a home. This ensures that the building process is smooth and enjoyable for everyone. There are three things that you can always count on when working with Cahill Homes — realistic budgets, ontime delivery and great communication. The entire Cahill Homes team looks forward to the opportunity to build you and your family a home!

What do you like most about your job? I love that I get to work alongside some remarkable people at Cahill Homes. Each team member loves what they do and it shows in the product they produce. I also love to hand over the keys to a new house. The joy and excitement that each family has for their new dream home is very rewarding.

What is something most people do not know about you? I juggle fire. It is not a party trick that I pull out very often, but when I do, it is a real crowd pleaser.

What aspect of building custom homes do you enjoy the most? Above: A grand bathroom, perfect for relaxing and soaking Everett and Soule Photography

Building a custom home is like creating art. Each home has its own style and personality. I love the interaction with our homeowners, gathering their desires and wishes and then seeing them come to fruition through the hard work and skill of our team.

When did your company start? My father, Steve, started Cahill Homes in 1977. Forty plus years later, we still operate on the same principles he started the company. A fun fact: The Vice President of Cahill Homes, Judd Webster, started in 1980. He is a true asset to our company.

Q&A Have you always wanted to build homes? I grew up the son of a contractor. When I went to jobsites with my father, I would study the plans. I knew from the age of 11 that I wanted to be an architect. I began offering design/build services so that I could ensure the vision for each client’s home was maintained from concept to completion.

What is something most people do not know about you? I have a personal goal to run a marathon in all 50 states. I’m at 41 to date. More on this to come! Above: Seamless designs transitioning indoor and outdoor space Uneek Image Photography

Besides being an MCBC builder, what sets you apart from other custom home builders?

Left: Jeffrey Davis Photography

Our one-stop approach to architecture, interior design, kitchens and construction makes the process of building a custom home seamless and holistic from start to finish.

What is your personal philosophy? Although I’m known for my modern architectural designs, I am passionate about all styles of architecture as long as they are done well.

Do you have any pets? If so, what kind? What are their names and why? We have a Basset Hound named Agnes. I had a great grandmother named Agnes and have always loved that name.

lients enjoy maximum value and an enhanced lifestyle with their PSG Construction projects. They praise the methods owner Paul Gidus uses to help them reach their desired goals in a thoroughly planned, more cost effective method. Paul learned the building trade from his father, and formed PSG Construction in 1987 with his brother, Stephen. Today, as sole owner of PSG Construction, Paul keeps his company intentionally modest in size in order to provide personalized attention to every project. He is a member of the Rotary Club and several industry organizations. Paul and his wife, Tammy, have three children and reside in Orlando in a home Paul built.
