They are both very maternal and stout featured, yet so practical and functional in their kind. B796 was a calf champion at the NAILE and has produced multiple champion at Sullivan Farms. Her Silveiras Style daughter, JSUL Dream Big 8992F has had many champion titles and accolades. Gateway Follow Me has been a personal favorite of mine in the Angus breed since seeing him on display in OKC. This was a unique opportunity for us to branch out with some elite genetics outside of the Shorthorn world.
One of the younger heifer calves in our offering, that wasn’t weaned yet by picture day, but will have a picture and video available to view after the Illinois State Fair. 409N’s donor dam was named Reserve Champion at the NJSS and NAILE in 2017 for the Inskeep family. With Red Knight semen becoming more scarce each day, this mating to the 611 donor is just that much more valuable. I have always admired this heifer calf’s excellent leg structure and tidy front end, while still maintaining a soft and pliable look to the center portion of her body. She continues to impress us here each day, increasingly becoming one of our best show heifer prospects.
