Ark Cancer Charity
Ark Cancer Charity is a local charity dedicated to enhancing the cancer experience of patients receiving treatment at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT). Through the charity’s grants policy, we are able to fund wellbeing services which the NHS cannot currently deliver. Our Wellbeing Centre is a hub of practical support. Our expert therapists offer a range of therapies –reflexology, aromatherapy, acupuncture, manual lymphatic drainage, scar tissue massage, and personalised counselling.
Thanks to the support of our donors, who have raised funds for the charity, we will be funding the conversion and upgrade to the ‘Rainbow’ Chemotherapy Unit into a top-notch facility, to be known as The Ark Oncology Unit. This transformation will significantly improve the experience for cancer patients in North Hampshire, benefiting over 50,000 attendees in the next decade.

Basingstoke Deane Rotary Club was formed in 1985 and is one of the 34,00 Rotary Clubs worldwide. The Rotary organisation has 1.2 million members and are one of the largest charities in the world - donating £5 million per week and making a difference by supporting Water Aid and other clean water projects, donating £1 billion to the eradication of polio and sending enough Shelterboxes to disaster areas to house over 200.000 families. Basingstoke Voluntary Action is the strategic membership body representing the voluntary sector across Basingstoke & Deane. Ark Cancer Charity
Ark Cancer Charity is a local charity dedicated to enhancing the cancer experience of patients receiving treatment at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT). Through the charity’s grants policy, we are able to fund wellbeing services which the NHS cannot currently deliver. Our Wellbeing Centre is a hub of practical support. Our expert therapists offer a range of therapies –reflexology, aromatherapy, acupuncture, manual lymphatic drainage, scar tissue massage, and personalised counselling. Thanks to the support of our donors, we will be funding the conversion and upgrade to the ‘Rainbow’ Chemotherapy Unit into a top-notch facility, to be known as The Ark Oncology Unit. This transformation will significantly improve the experience for cancer patients in North Hampshire, benefiting over 50,000 attendees in the next decade.

Basingstoke Voluntary Action
Basingstoke Voluntary Action is the strategic membership body representing the voluntary sector across Basingstoke & Deane. Citizens Advice Basingstoke is an independent local charity providing life-changing advice on a wide range of issues for absolutely everybody, no matter what their enquiry involves. Experienced advisers help vulnerable people to put food on the table, keep a roof over their head and stay warm during the coldest months. Advice is free, confidential and impartial and last year Citizens Advice Basingstoke supported 9,193 people with issues including debt, employment, benefits, housing, energy and relationships and more. 31,309 interactions were carried out with, or on behalf of, clients and as a result income worth £1,067,335 was gained to help people move forward with their lives.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance is the independent Charity that brings an advanced Critical Care Team to the most seriously ill and injured patients in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, giving them the best chance of survival and recovery, when the worst happens.
Using a helicopter and emergency response vehicle, we provide highly skilled pre-hospital emergency medicine doctors and specialist paramedics to the scene of an incident, effectively bringing the hospital to the patient when time is critical. Called to an average of six incidents every day, our lifesaving service is operational 365 days a year, day, and night.

St Michael’s Hospice
St. Michael’s Hospice is an independent charity based in Basingstoke, supporting people who have a life-limiting illness, are facing the end of life or experiencing bereavement. The Pink Place
FACT: 1 in 2 of us will get cancer!
The Pink Place Charity provides FREE holistic and wellbeing support services including counselling, mindfulness classes, complementary therapies, yoga therapy, peer group support and friendship to adults affected by cancer, living in and around Basingstoke. Treloar’s is a charity that provides outstanding education, therapy and care to around 180 children and young people, aged 4 to 25 years, who come from across the country to attend our school and college.
