The International Builders' Show (IBS) in Las Vegas is one of the largest annual events in the construction industry, showcasing the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in residential and commercial construction. The Lichey’s requested an in-home consult after having seal failure, and not knowing what to do next for their home built in the 1970s After I explained installation would be full frame, Mrs. Lichey said, well if we are changing it, we should REALLY change it After flipping through the Lifestyle Series brochure, she said, “I want that!” Their goal was to mimic the design from the literature somehow in their home

Her vision was “modern, vertical, with some H’s, where some lines are carried through and others uneven. ” and “Just like the picture.” After taking time to sit down with the literature, she loved what I sketched for the top portion and had rendered, but she said the bottom was just not different enough We had to meet in the middle, with her sacrificing blinds-between-the-glass on the bottom, and opening up the middle for a picture window, it took Designworks renderings to help this customer’s vision become a reality.
