Intentional Design

We will see increasing ceiling heights so that the space lives larger and more comfortably

Contrast Color Combinations

Exterior paint trends are showing a lot of high contrast and simplistic designs There is a subtle warming of the blacks to charcoal grays (Iron Ore) and whites like Drift of Mist

Pushing Design Boundaries

Moving to a more modern design doesn’t mean grilles need to be removed Pella offers custom window shapes and grille patterns that can add character to any design style

Hardware finishes to stand out

With the many different hardware finish options Pella offers, choosing one that contrasts with the window or door color is a great way to make a bold statement

DESIGN SPOTLIGHT

Hellings Builders

When I met Jay Thuer from Hellings Builders at the Hess residence last, it was obvious that this large replacement project would require a good amount of time and attention to detail. The owners wanted to go bold with the new colors, but couldn’t quite picture Navy Blue clad windows on the home. This is when I suggested utilizing Pella DesignWorks to show them the color combination Once they saw the DesignWorks rendering, it was full steam ahead.

UTILIZING DESIGN

BE

When price is an objection

When hesitation or indecision is present and a go-back tool is needed

When obvious changes are expressed

Design works is a nice tool to get back into the home.

I like to use it in the showroom and find it most impactful to show once they arrive. I then can recap with the customer and show the physical samples in the showroom to help build the dream for the customer.
