Import scan (File – Place) Draw around (Pen tool)
Save file as illustrator, then export File – Export
Format DWG, Export Soildworks (File open) select type of file to DWG (Open)
Important. Select ‐ import to a new part

Next, change inches to mm, select –to 2d sketch (finish)
You now have a sketch that can be extruded, copied etc
