As part of our acquisition in 2011 of THOMASSEN COMPRESSION SYSTEMS, now named Howden Thomassen Compressors (HTC), Howden has enhanced the already established HTC global network of services centres with additional knowledge and resources to extend its service, spares and repair capabilities to now include the complete compressor technology product range of Howden’s compressor division.

As part of the Howden Compressor Division, Howden Thomassen do Brasil (HTdB), based in Rio de Janeiro, is responsible for all aftermarket services of Howden compressor products in the South American region and therefore the first point of contact for all customers and end users.

Piston Compressors Howden Thomassen Compressors, formerly Thomassen Compression Systems and established in 1906, is today a major force in large capacity piston compressors, and has designed, built and installed one of the world’s largest piston compressors at 13MW.
