She envisions an eco-friendly art store that not only provides high-quality art supplies, but also promotes sustainable and eco-friendly practices within the artistic community. Her goal is to create a space where artists can express themselves while minimizing their environmental impact through use of eco-friendly materials and responsible practices.
The Palette Playground is a lively and creative art supplies store that aims to inspire artists of all levels. Located in the bustling arts district of Dallas, TX, the store offers a vast selection of art materials, from paints and brushes to sketchbooks and crafting supplies. With a vibrant and inviting atmosphere, The Palette Playground is not just a store; it's a community hub for artists to explore their creativity.

The foundation of The Palette Playground is a reinforced concrete slab. This foundation type provides stability for the store's vibrant and dynamic atmosphere, ensuring a solid base for the colorful and diverse selection of art supplies.

Wall Construction –Brick Veneer
The walls of The Palette Playground are designed to reflect the store's fun and creative ambiance. Colorful and interactive mural walls featuring local artists' work adorn the interior, creating an engaging and visually stimulating environment. The exterior walls are a mix of painted brick and large display windows, inviting passersby to explore the artistic wonders inside.

Roof Type –Pitched w/ skylights
The roof of The Palette Playground is a pitched roof with skylights. The pitched roof adds a playful and whimsical touch to the store's architecture, while the skylights allow natural light to flood the interior, enhancing the visibility of the vibrant colors of the art supplies.

Wall & Floor Finishes


- Brick wall finish; offsets the coolness from the concrete flooring and grey in the carpet, wall mounted shelving , art, and other displays bring more life to the already warm and vibrant brick, as well as the rest of the store
-Concrete floor transitions to Colorful Nylon carpet tile after entryway and checkout counter; adds texture and color for lower LOS, High traffic durability, stain resistant and changes out easily
