YOUNG HARRISAdventures O. WAYNE ROLLINS PLANETARIUM The Rollins Planetarium, equipped with a GOTO Chronos Space Simulator star projector, was the first installation of its kind globally in 2002. Offering at least 30 Friday evening public shows annually, the planetarium, located on the Young Harris College campus, features a 40-footdiameter dome with a seating capacity of 109. Additionally, the college's observatory, opened in 1979 through philanthropy, is situated near Brasstown Valley Resort, providing guided constellation tours and observing sessions after planetarium shows.

BRASSTOWN VALLEY RESORT & SPA Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa, just two hours north of Atlanta, provides a scenic mountain retreat. The resort offers amenities such as the Equani Spa, challenging golf courses, horseback riding trails, and a range of dining options. With 102 lodge guest rooms, 32 mountain cottage rooms, and ample meeting space, it's an ideal venue for both corporate events and family celebrations against the backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

MILLER TREK TRAIL The Miller Trek, a collaborative effort between the USDA, USFS, and Georgia DNR, spans a 6.5-mile trail with an elevation change from 2,000 to 3,200 feet.

Marked in orange with a shorter lime green loop, the trail showcases diverse flowering plants and wildlife like white-tailed deer, foxes, flying squirrels, and black bears. Guided hikes, suitable for ages seven and up, are offered through the Recreation Department at Brasstown Valley Resort, with the blazed trail providing a convenient return route.

DESTINY ALPACA FARM Destiny Alpaca Farm is dedicated to raising the finest quality alpacas. Located at 1952 Gibson Road in Young Harris, Georgia, the panoramic view of the enchanted valleys and mountains is a great place to discover alpacas.

We welcome you to the farm where you’ll see our herd of huacaya alpacas grazing nearby. It’s a peaceful environment, where alpacas seem like family. They are introduced by name and pictures of their antics fill the family album. Alpacas are gentle, hardy and easy to care for. They require simple shelters, fencing and are environmentally friendly.

TROLL TAVERN, HELEN The Troll Tavern has a fantastic location right on the Chattahoochee River so you get a great view of the scenery here. The menu is great the beer selection is amazing and the atmosphere is the best!

19 DEGREES NORTH, DAHLONEGA Located in the heart of the square, Pork Belly tacos with mango salsa is by far our faves and save room for the Salted Caramel Cheesecake.

THE SMITH HOUSE, DAHLONEGA Open since 1899, this gem offers the best Southern dishes in a family style dining room. Located just one block from downtown, this restaurant also offers overnight rooms to stay.

The Haven Off Leash Dog Park 171 Mineral Springs Road, GA 30513 Fido can play off-leash at The Haven Off Leash Dog Park, also known as Noah's Bark Park, located next to the Humane Society of Blue Ridge in Blue Ridge, GA. This fenced dog park has separate spaces for small and large dogs, as well as benches and a shade structure. Please remember to clean up after your pup. At times shelter staff may need to use one of the dog park sections to exercise the adoptable dogs.
