A Message from our Pastor Dear Parishioners of SS. Peter and Paul,

Bishop Liam Cary Visiting SSPP This weekend Bishop Liam Cary will be visiting our parish and celebrating the 9:30 AM Mass on Sunday. Bishop Cary is the recently ordained Bishop of Baker, Oregon. Bishop Cary is also my friend and classmate from seminary. Hence, if you see a stray bishop wandering around the parish, please take a moment to offer him a warm Saints Peter and Paul welcome. New Webpage Our new parish webpage is up and running. Please take a moment to check it out at: www.sspeterandpaul.net. Parish Car Magnets Saints Peter and Paul Parish is offering a snazzy new parish car magnet with our new parish logo and the words "I am Catholic. I believe" on them. We request only a $3 donation to help us defray our costs. Please stop at the parish office and pick up your car magnet any time during office hours. May Almighty God bless you always. In Christ,

Fr. Thomas A. Milota

PARISH SACRIFICIAL GIVING

Marriage: Love and Life In The Divine Plan:

We sincerely thank everyone for their contributions!

What Is Marriage?

For the new fiscal year, the weekly Sunday collection goal is $47,822.

“Marriage is a lifelong partnership of the whole of life, of mutual and exclusive fidelity, established by mutual consent between a man and a woman, and ordered towards the good of the spouses and the procreation of offspring.” To read the document go to http://www.usccb.org/loveandlife/.

Would you like to be involved in a more hands-on way at SSPP? Are you someone who always attends the same Mass? Would you be willing to arrive 20-30 minutes before the start of Mass? We are looking for interested parishioners to assist in the setting up for Mass. You will learn how to choose the correct color of vestments for the priest, how to set up the Chalice and Ciboria for the celebration of Mass. If you are interested please call Pam Adamski at 630-355-0222 or e-mail pam@adamski.com.
