PERFORMANCE

Pat moved to Santa Fe from New York in October 2016. Immediately, she became a member of Site Santa Fe’s Foundation Council and was soon afterwards recruited by her neighbor Roxanne Howe-Murphy to the Desert Chorale board in 2017. Pat does not claim any musical ability but credits her passion for the Chorale to spiritual guidance from her late husband who loved to sing. She spearheaded the Chorale’s community engagement project Hearts in Harmony at Pete’s Place until its closing by Covid-19. She served as President of the Board of Directors in 2020, and in subsequent years served as Chair of the Development Committee and on the Endowment, Legacy, and Community Engagement committees. She is one of the three witches responsible for flowers at Chorale events!

Pat’s other volunteer efforts include Punching out Parkinson’s, Literacy Volunteers of Santa Fe, the Santa Fe Animal Shelter and the pet therapy program at Christus St. Vincent Medical Center. But nothing thrills her more than gathering with friends at a Desert Chorale concert, musing with the singers, and expanding her knowledge of the choral repertoire.

SUPPORT OUR NEW COMMERCIAL ALBUM

Your Desert Chorale artists will be recording a new album from August 3-5, to be released in 2026. We are truly grateful for those who have already contributed to bring this recording to life. We still have $43,000 left to raise to bring this project over the finish line. As you support this new recording, you invest in the future of the Santa Fe Desert Chorale, the artists and composers who pour their hearts into this music, and the future of American choral music.
