OFFICE FOR DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION
The Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion supports DePaul College Prep to foster a diverse and welcoming community, guided by our School’s mission, Core Values, and Catholic Social Teaching. We strive to affirm each student’s unique identity, make culture more palpable, create brave spaces for understanding, and engage the community in meaningful dialogue. As a Vincentian Catholic institution, we aspire to move with purpose and intention toward a level of inclusion where all students feel seen and heard.
“At DePaul College Prep, our goal is to ensure that all students are prepared and have options for post secondary study at their choice of college or university following their high school career. Our rigorous curriculum, paired with an in-depth knowledge of our students, allows us to ensure positive outcomes for all students.”
Dr. Megan Stanton-Anderson Principal, DePaul College Prep
DePaul College Prep is the only co-ed Catholic high school in Chicago to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma. IB teaches critical thinking with a global perspective and like AP classes, offers the potential for college credits for successful graduates.

Be yourself with others

excellence service faith respect health grounded in our core values:

FAITH
Rooted in the Catholic Tradition and Vincentian Charism, we embrace the critical role of Catholic education in this place and time, and engage our student body wherever they are on the spectrum of belief and practice .
EXCELLENCE
By fostering our unique gifts and challenging ourselves to reach beyond our comfort zones, we develop a sense of confidence, integrity, and high standards that are ultimately expressed in every facet of life.
RESPECT
Ours is an urban school that reflects and engages with the multicultural and socioeconomic diversity of our city, cultivating caring relationships within our campus and neighborhood, and extending to our world.
SERVICE
Rooted in the transformative social service legacy of Saint Vincent de Paul and Saint Louise de Marillac, our experiential service, community engagement, and habits of reflection are integral parts of a formation toward living as a mission-driven adult.
HEALTH
As a Catholic school, our holistic approach teaches us to honor the well-being of heart, mind and body as a gift from God, “fearfully and wonderfully made.”(Psalm 139). This spirit is infused into all that we do at DePaul Prep from the athletics fields and dining hall, to the classroom and chapel.
faith life

Students engage in service learning and build relationships with select social service institutions in Chicago, exposing them to diverse ways of serving the needs of our city and responding to the central Vincentian question, “What must be done?”
