No statement contained online or made orally at the auction or elsewhere shall be deemed to be such a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability. By purchasing, the buyer waives any claim for liability against either Denver Academy or the donor of the property or services and neither Denver Academy nor the donor of the property or services is responsible for any personal injury or damages to the property that may result from the utilization of property or services sold.
• If an item is sold for more than the fair market value, the difference between the purchase price and the fair market value is deductible as a donation. Where it is not possible to establish a fair market value for one-of-a-kind items, the purchase price will be presumed to be the fair market value, and no part of the payment will be considered a contribution.
