Titus, White top Crown Point class CROWN POINT — Crown Point Central School has named the valedictorian and salutatorian of the Class of 2012. Marissa Titus, daughter of Patrick and Dawn Titus, is the valedictorian with a 98 average. Her school activities include varsity soccer and basketball, National Honor Society, mentor, student council, SADD, Quiz Bowl and junior model. She was captain of both the soccer and basketball teams. Titus has also volunteered for the SalMarissa Titus vation Army and local nursing home. She will graduate with 30 college credits and plans to attend SUNY-Binghamton to major in biochemistry. She hopes to continue her education to become a doctor. Hailey White, daughter of Amy LaVare, is the salutatorian of the Crown Point Class of 2012 with a 93 average. Her school activities include National Honor Society, SADD, class officer, Quiz Bowl, varsity soccer Hailey White (captain), varsity softball and mentor. She was captain of the soccer team. White is the 2012 Distinguished Young Woman of Crown Point. She is also a volunteer for the Salvation Army. She will graduate with 30 college credits and plans to attend the Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital School of Radiology to become a radiologic technician.
