An Elderly-friendly Community Aging Development
Aging‘s community transformation Of Suojin Village
He proposed a voluntary service and reciprocal sharing model based on time bank, that is, 'taking the labor as the measurement standard, the service time of each volunteer activity will be deposited into the personal time bank account, and then withdraw from the time bank when they need to serve, and accept the volunteer service provided by others.'
Members of our team conducted a field survey of the Suojin Village community and found the following problems with the site.

In the process of in-depth aging renewal of the community with "time bank" as the main strategy, the scope of radiation is continuously expanded, the surrounding schools and enterprises are promoted to unite with the community, and the aging strategy of "time bank" is further optimized, so as to improve the well-being of community residents and enhance social cohesion.
The increasing aging leads to a sharp rise in healthcare consumption demand. However, there's a supply shortage and the physical and mental needs of the elderly are neglected.
With rapid economic development, young people's leisure time is much occupied by work and they're under high mental stress. Young people tend to spend free time resting or doing odd jobs instead of community service.
User Analysis
During the field investigation, we found that the infrastructure types of the site were relatively perfect within the 15-minute life circle, such as hospitals and schools.
Based on our age-appropriate design and strategy, we have made local modifications in each village to meet our design. Here are the usage scenarios for each community.
Facility time capsule for volunteers to check points and get supplies.
Every week, college students come to take care of us, and they are volunteers of the Time Bank to make life easier for us
Time Bank Business
Hall, the main office of Time bank, can handle volunteer time related business.
The facility is a movable time-space tunnel that serves as a temporary venue for community events.
This well - designed community has time capsules, tunnels in its garden and a business
College students and the government jointly set up the "Time bank" to plan and transform the community amusement park for agingfriendly design, which is now very convenient.
The facility is a movable time-space tunnel that serves as a temporary venue for community events.
Facilities can be moved time and space tunnel, free medical check-ups for the elderly in the community.
The supplies supermarket provides delivery services for time capsules and the elderly in various communities.

In California, agriculture is a key economic pillar, covering fruits, vegetables, dairy and alcohol, and is over twice as large as the second - biggest industry. It produces over a third of US - grown vegetables and nearly 75% of the state's fruits and nuts. Almonds, 100% produced in California, are the state's fourth - largest agri - industry.
California has a distinct climate, with dry, sunny summers and wetter winters. Geographical complexity causes significant climate variation within the state, ideal for almond growth, which is centered in the Central Valley's Sacramento and San Joaquin areas. Almonds rely entirely on bees for pollination.

Build a fire barrier to block the flames and prevent the flames from spreading below.
Fire-resistant beehives are placed in almond growing areas to keep bees safe in the event of a wildfire.
Add water system to block burning and supply fire vehicles.
Special buildings can be used for indoor bee - breeding, with almonds planted inside to ensure bees have food for survival.
Creating a fire escape ensures easy access and operation for fire personnel and equipment.
Set up and use a fire - warning system to notify the public and relevant departments early for timely action.
Establish almond and honey related products, set up special markets, and actively develop tourism.
The addition of roads and related facilities makes the almond farms connected and easier to reach.
To counter wildfire impacts on California's almond industry and bee habitats, this design has three key factors:
Special bldgs for indoor bee - breeding, almonds inside for bee food.
Choose fire - tolerant plants (e.g., succulents, low - growth) and fewer trees. Avoid flammable ones.
A bee - almond ed area on the farm allows visitors to learn while enjoying the view.
Build more resorts and increase farm accommodation capacity for visitors' rest. Design Strategy
Addressing the impact of wildfires on the almond industry and honeybee environment in California Fire prevention and early warning
safety protection(For almonds and bees) Actively promote the development of tourism
The first is wildfire prevention and early alert. We boost forest management, clear flammable materials, and use advanced systems to detect and alert when a fire starts, allowing for timely response.
The second focuses on property protection. Fire - resistant plants are planted around almond fields as a barrier. Fire stations are set up, and warning signs are placed. An indoor bee cultivation base, with fire - proof and heat - insulating features, safeguards bees during wildfires, ensuring almond pollination.
The third promotes tourism. Roads are built to improve access. On - farm activities like almond - picking and bee - science lectures, along with an educational area, teach visitors about the ecosystem and wildfire dangers. Homestays and rest areas are also constructed for a better tourist experience.
Specific measures to deal with hill fire in the site
In the prevention and control of mountain fires, three fire prevention lines are mainly set up. The first line is a fire trench, mainly distributed in the historical fire center area, and an automatic sprinkling device is placed to automatically sprinkler the fire when the fire comes, and water is drawn from the river to isolate the fire. The second fire line is basically set along the road, not only set up a fire embankment, but also planted a variety of fire-resistant vegetation, delay the time of the fire to reach the almond planting area and human activity area, but also add scenery to the road. The third fire protection line is the drainage channel and reservoir, which surround the indoor bee breeding area and the almond planting area, ensuring the planting water of almonds, and also conducive to the local water intake when the fire occurs, reducing the impact of the fire on bees and almonds.
When a mountain fire breaks out, it will automatically spray water to extinguish the
We will build homestays and actively develop rural tourism related to almonds and bees. Relying on the existing railways, we will actively develop transportation. When the fire came, the newly built fire brigade was immediately dispatched to ensure the safety of property and life.
The addition of water system near the homestay not only increases the aesthetics, but also increases the hydrophilic play area for the homestay, and ensures the water source when fighting the fire.

04 Energy Storage of the Urban Green Heart
Project Objective
The city of Taiyuan has a long history of 2,500 years and was plagued by floods in ancient times. Especially during the Qing Dynasty, many floods formed puddles outside the ancient city. In modern times, Taiyuan has established a lot of public green space because of the policy, but urban waterlogging is still a serious problem, especially in the areas where parks are connected with hard surfaces.
Shanxi Province
Taiyuan is located in the middle of Shanxi Province, the main urban area is in the southeast. The whole city is divided into two parts by the Fenhe River, the urban spaces on the east district is the old city, but because of the government's planning, there are more green areas in the new city zone.
1980s, especially the old pipe network in the urban center. In Taiyuan, flood alerts show drainage, climate, and green - infra issues. Urgent to improve for
Yingze Park, Yingze District, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, China 2024.3-2024.6
Design Process Site Location
The site is mostly surrounded by streets, the northern western border is the main road, the south is the drainage ditch, the drainage capacity is strong, compared with other directions, the eastern drainage facilities of the whole park is poor, more prone to waterlogging.
Urban green spaces in the old city are mainly concentrated around lakes, yet their waterabsorption capacity is limited.
The hard connection between the border and the city makes it more prone to flooding.

Analysis of Water and Waterlogging Tolerance of Vegetation
Malus×micromalusMakino
Greener spongelike setups that soak up more water can make nicer places for city folks nearby.
Beginning with native vegetation in the area, water - logging - tolerant plants are selected and will be continuously planted in subsequent designs, with more to be added.
According to the requirements of Taiyuan City for sponge city design and the current situation of the site, this program designed rain garden, permeable pavement, ecological planting area and other facilities, so that surface runoff can be gradually purified, precipitated, filtered and collected from the sloping highland, and Yingze Park can become a green infrastructure with more water absorption and storage capacity.
