Do not use the sweeper without dust container in place.

Store the sweeper indoors. Store after use to prevent accidents.

Leaks from battery cells can occur under extreme conditions. If battery liquid gets on the skin wash immediately with soap and water or neutralize with a mild acid such as lemon juice or vinegar. If the liquid gets into eyes, flush immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention.

•

Do not attempt to use the charger with any other product or attempt to charge this product with another charger.

•

The sweeper must be disconnected from the power supply when removing the battery.

WARNING! Although your appliance is easy to operate, for your safety, the warnings below must be followed: 1.

Use only the 9V / 300mA charger provided with this product.

Do not place the appliance near a heat source.

Use the appliance on a stable surface.

Assembly

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Before assembly, remove all parts from the box and read the instruction manual carefully.

If any parts are missing or damaged, do not return the sweeper to the store. Please call 1–866–558–8096 for replacement parts.

Before proceeding, please check the receptacle piece on the main unit. It needs to be in the correct down position (see Fig. 1), for proper assembly. If necessary, place the receptacle in the correct position. To do so, push the receptacle into the downward position (see Fig. 1), before proceeding with assembly.

Line up tabs on the lower handle (9) with the corresponding spaces on the unit receptacle (see Fig. 3). The finger grips of the lower handle (9) will be facing outward to one side (see Fig. 4). Push the lower handle (9) firmly so it goes completely into the receptacle (see Fig. 5). Some force may be necessary.

Assembly

2. Rotate the lower handle (9) so the finger grips are facing in an upward direction (see Fig. 6).

The handle will not rotate unless the lower handle (9) is flush with the sweeper (see Fig. 5).

3. Connect the upper handle to the upper pole (a click sound can be heard), make sure the clip of handle is aimed at the fixed groove of the upper handle. Connect the upper handle and lower handle to the junction point.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The upper pole has a groove that will fit specifically into one side of the junction point, the lower pole does not have a groove. To bend the handle at the center, press the handle release button and pull the handle forward. However, the handle does not need to bend to clean ground surfaces.

Charging

CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS 1.

The battery will initially have some charge in it. For the first use, it is recommended to operate the sweeper until the battery becomes weak or is completely drained. When the sweeper is no longer working, charge the sweeper until the LED light turns from red to green, indicating the battery is fully charged.

2.

To charge the battery, insert the charging jack attached to the end of the power adapter (13) into the charging jack on the back of the sweeper (6). Plug adapter into electrical outlet. NOTE: The power indicator light will go on. The power light will stay on the entire time the power adapter is plugged into the electrical outlet. The power indicator light will turn from red to green when the battery is fully charged.

3.

Sweeper batteries need to be charged 5 - 6 hours. Once the batteries are fully charged, the sweeper will run for approximately 35 to 40 minutes.

Do not charge the sweeper while operating.

To recharge, repeat step #2.

It is not recommended for the life of the battery to keep the charger attached when the light is green.

CAUTION: • Use only with the battery pack and charger supplied with the unit.

• Do not remove the battery pack from the unit to charge it.

• Do not throw the battery pack or unit into a fire or incinerate it.

• Do not remove or damage the battery casing.

• Battery must be recycled or disposed of properly at the end of its service life.

Operating

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1.

Unplug unit from the charging jack.

2.

Make sure the dust container is securely in place.

3.

Push the ON/OFF switch to operate the unit and push again to stop.

4.

Tap the speed button with your foot to change the speeds. One light indicates the speed optimized to clean bare floors and two lights indicate the speed optimized to clean carpets and larger debris on bare floors.

5.

To adjust the handle position, hold the unit in place gently with your foot and adjust to the desired position. (see Fig. 7).

6.

To bend center of handle, squeeze the handle release button.

7.

Turn off unit before emptying dust container.

Care and maintenance

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

CAUTION: Always be sure that the appliance is switched OFF before cleaning the appliance or attempting to store the item.

CLEANING THE DUST CONTAINER AND ROTATING BRUSH

To achieve the best performance, empty the dust container after each use.

1.

To remove the dust container, squeeze top and bottom and pull the dust container straight out from the side.

2.

Empty dust container contents. If desired, you may rinse with water to clean the dust container, but dry thoroughly before replacing into the sweeper.

3.

Replace dust container into sweeper body.

4.

Periodically, remove the transparent cover on the front of the sweeper and remove any build up of lint, hair, or fiber on the rotating brush.

5.

To remove the transparent cover, grip the cover from the bottom, pull out and upward until the cover unlocks from the side slots and tabs located on the top of the sweeper.

NOTE: None of the removable parts are dishwasher safe.

CAUTION: Do not accidentally turn unit on while cleaning.

Do not clean while unit is charging.

El usuario debe entender que el sentido común y la precaución son factores que no se pueden incluir en el aparato, sino que los debe aportar el usuario mismo. ¡ADVERTENCIA! Utilice solo el cargador de 9 V / 300 mA que se proporciona con este producto.

Ensamblaje

INSTRUCCIONES DE ENSAMBLAJE Antes del ensamblaje, extraiga todas las piezas de la caja y lea el manual de instrucciones.

Si hay alguna pieza dañada o faltante, no devuelva la barredora a la tienda. Llame al 1-866-558-8096 para obtener las piezas de repuesto.

Antes de continuar, verifique la pieza del receptáculo en la unidad principal. Esta debe estar en la posición correcta hacia abajo (ver la figura 1), para poder realizar el ensamblaje de manera apropiada. Coloque el receptáculo en la posición correcta, si es necesario. Para ello, empuje el receptáculo a la posición hacia abajo (ver la figura 1), antes de proceder con el ensamblaje.

Alinee las pestañas en el mango inferior (9) con los espacios correspondientes en el receptáculo de la unidad (ver la figura 3). Los asideros del mango inferior (9) estarán mirando hacia afuera a un lado (ver la figura 4). Empuje el mango inferior (9) con firmeza de manera que entre por completo en el receptáculo (ver la figura 5). Puede que tenga que emplear un poco de fuerza.

Ensamblaje

2. Gire el mango inferior (9) de modo que los asideros estén mirando hacia arriba (ver la figura 6). El mango no girará a menos que el mango inferior (9) esté a ras con la barredora (ver la figura 5).

3. Conecte el mango superior a la vara superior (podrá escuchar un sonido de clic), asegurándose de que la pinza del mango está dirigida a la ranura fija del mango superior. Conecte el mango superior e inferior al punto de unión.

NOTA IMPORTANTE: La vara superior tiene una ranura que ajusta específicamente a un lado del punto de unión; la vara inferior no tiene ranura. Para doblar el mango en el centro, pulse el botón de liberación del asa y tire del mango hacia adelante. Sin embargo, el mango no se tiene que doblar para limpiar los pisos.

Proceso de carga

INSTRUCCIONES DE CARGA 1.

La batería tendrá inicialmente algo de carga. Para el primer uso, se recomienda usar la barredora hasta que la batería tenga poca carga o se agote por completo. Cuando la barredora deje de funcionar, cargue la batería hasta que la luz del LED pase de roja a verde, lo que indica que la batería está completamente cargada.

2.

Para cargar la batería, inserte el conector de carga al final del cable del adaptador de corriente (13) en el enchufe de carga en la parte posterior de la barredora (6).

Enchufe el adaptador a un tomacorriente. NOTA: El indicador de alimentación se encenderá. El indicador de alimentación permanecerá encendido todo el tiempo que el adaptador de alimentación esté conectado al tomacorriente. La luz del indicador de alimentación pasará de roja a verde cuando la batería esté completamente cargada.

3.

La carga de las baterías de la barredora toma de 5 a 6 horas. La barredora funcionará un tiempo aproximado de 35 a 40 minutos, cuando las baterías se han cargado completamente.

4.

No cargue la barredora mientras la está utilizando.

5.

Repita el paso # 2 para recargarla.

6.

No es recomendable para la vida útil de la batería mantener el cargador conectado cuando la luz es de color verde.

PRECAUCIÓN: • Usar únicamente con la batería y cargador que se suministran con la unidad.

• No extraiga la batería de la unidad para cargarla.

• No arroje la batería o la unidad al fuego o las incinere.

• No quite ni dañe la carcasa de la batería.

• La batería se debe reciclar o desechar de manera apropiada al final de su vida útil.

Funcionamiento Interruptor de encendido/ apagado, botón de velocidad

INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO 1.

Desenchufe la unidad del conector de carga.

2.

Asegúrese de que el depósito para el polvo está firme en su lugar.

3.

Presione el interruptor de encendido/apagado para encender la unidad y presiónelo de nuevo para apagarla.

4.

Empuje suavemente el botón de velocidad con el pie para cambiar las velocidades. Una luz indica la velocidad óptima para limpiar los pisos desnudos y las dos luces indican la velocidad óptima para limpiar alfombras y desechos mayores en los pisos desnudos.

5.

Para ajustar la posición del mango, sostenga la unidad en su lugar suavemente con el pie y ajuste a la posición deseada (ver la figura 7).

6.

Para plegar el centro del mango, apriete el botón de liberación del mango.

7.

Apague la unidad antes de vaciar el depósito para el polvo.

Cuidado y mantenimiento

CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO

PRECAUCIÓN: Asegúrese siempre de que el aparato esté apagado antes de limpiarlo o tratar de guardarlo.

LIMPIEZA DEL DEPÓSITO PARA EL POLVO Y EL CEPILLO ROTATIVO Vacíe el depósito para el polvo después de cada uso para lograr un mejor desempeño.

1.

Para quitar el depósito para el polvo, apriete la parte superior e inferior y tire del depósito en línea recta desde el costado.

2.

Vacíe el contenido del depósito para el polvo. Puede enjuagar con agua el depósito para el polvo para limpiarlo si lo desea, pero debe secarlo bien antes de colocarlo de nuevo en la barredora.

3.

Reemplace el depósito para el polvo en el cuerpo de la barredora.

4.

Periódicamente quite la cubierta transparente en la parte frontal de la barredora y elimine las acumulaciones de pelusas, pelos o fibras en el cepillo giratorio.

5.

Para quitar la cubierta transparente, agarre la cubierta por la parte inferior, tire hacia fuera y hacia arriba hasta que la tapa se destrabe de las ranuras laterales y pestañas situadas en la parte superior de la barredora.

NOTA: Ninguna de las piezas desmontables son aptas para el lavavajillas.

PRECAUCIÓN: No encienda accidentalmente la unidad durante la limpieza.

No limpie la unidad mientras se está cargando.
