"It's not easy," Yuri admits "There's a lot of competition, and being from a smaller city, you sometimes feel like you're starting a step behind But I also think growing up here has given me a unique perspective that sets me apart "Yuri's Arkansas upbringing is evident in her approach to modeling She speaks passionately about incorporating elements of natural beauty and Southern charm into her work "I want to show that high fashion isn't just for big cities We have a style and grace here in Arkansas that deserves to be seen on the global stage "
Yuri's journey into modeling began unexpectedly during her senior year at Central High School, a place steeped in civil rights history "I was always interested in fashion, but it was a photography project that really opened my eyes to modeling as a career," she recalls Since then, Yuri has been working tirelessly to make her mark in the industry She's participated in local fashion shows, collaborated with Arkansas photographers, and even traveled to Dallas for her first major casting call read it
