Case study #1
I am currently going into my 4th year here at Delta Capita and I have been on 6 projects so far. Joining the firm as a fresh graduate, I was put on a CLM Know-Your-Client project as my first ever project with the firm. The requirement was for us consultants to be analysing corporate customer risk profiles, to prevent illegal activity, specifically money laundering for their client onboarding process. Without prior industry knowledge, it was a great opportunity to be exposed to the idea of risk and just how important this concept is to the industry. The mindset of identifying and mitigating risk have therefore served me well while navigating through our different clients, projects and domains; be it CLM, PTS or Consulting in which it is all applicable for.

Case study #2
I have been with Delta Capita for two years and have been on three projects during this time. An example of a recent project I have been on is a tier 2 Investment Bank – located in Singapore. The team was required to review and approve Change in Circumstance (CiC) workflows launched by the Front Office and assist in extracting Management Information (MI) data on a weekly and monthly basis to track new workflows, existing workflows and overdue workflows.
We had a team of 1 Team Leader and 2 Analysts from DC, and we were deployed to manage the project by assisting the client’s existing CiC (Change in Circumstance) team in handling day-to-day operations and assist to clear their backlog that were accumulated due to Covid-19. Various extensions on the project were given due to the exemplary quality of work provided and good relationship management between the consultants and the permanent staff.
Whilst on the project, I learned how to manage the client’s expectations. As we assisted the client in updating the changes in SOPs and crafting new SOPs for regulatory changes, we had the opportunity to speak with various stakeholders and learning from them. I also learnt to analyse and create reports and share the findings from my reports with team members and other relevant departments. This gave me exposure on giving presentations. As I was on the project for over a year, I was also tasked to train the new joiners to the team.
