The client required support to deliver a bank-wide digital and data transformation across an 18-month period. Delta Capita supported across multiple workstreams including Onboarding, Service Excellence, Online Banking, Lending, Payments and Trusts. We supported from current state assessment and benchmarking, analysis, vendor selection to project governance and planning.

Manager | Development and implementation of end-to-end Consumer Duty Strategy
We analysed the clients existing business processes against all the key Consumer Duty Pillars to create a comprehensive FCA compliance roadmap. DC SMEs and a core delivery team supported the client to execute the roadmap in time for the regulatory go live which included policy updates, staff training as well as critical technology enhancements.
Developed a Target Operating Model for the group technology function with 14000 professionals. The target state was to break down organisational silos within technology i.e. Investment Banking technology, Wealth Management technology into one homogeneous global technology department within the firm. The engagement touched on all aspects of the technology organization ranging from developer productivity, to process simplification and adapting to Agile ways of working.
UK Private Bank| Development of full strategic plan incorporating new ESG approach and outcomes
Delta capita worked with a global comms and media technology and solutions provider to advise on their strategy and go to approach to enter retail banking specifically in the US with an eye on global expansion. We conducted a current state assessment of the clients existing product mix, SWOT, competitor analysis and key market trends. We then looked across the whole value chain utilising our proprietary tech to look at customer sentiment in retail banking to inform a comprehensive strategy.
The client required support to refresh its commercial, technical and delivery strategy, including development of previously unaddressed ESG thinking and plans. We developed a ‘horizon’ of 5yr strategic planning for the bank, building on existing purpose, goals and success and incorporating a new strategic approach to ESG risks and opportunities. This involved refining client segmentation and targeting approach, definition of the bank’s target state, gap analysis vs. current state; prioritisation of future investment and a design of a new measurement framework
