Three opportunities to hear from candidates
Voters in Delta South will have several opportunities to hear from provincial election candidates at upcoming public forums: • The Delta Chamber of Commerce is hosting an all-candidates meeting at the South Delta Secondary theatre on Wednesday, April 19 from 7 to 9 p.m. Chamber members and the public are invited to submit written questions to the chamber prior to the meeting. Written questions will also be accepted from the floor at the meeting. The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver is
the event sponsor and the Delta Optimist is the media partner. • The Council of Canadians DeltaRichmond chapter has an all-candidates meeting scheduled for Thursday, April 27 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Ladner Community Centre. • Friends of Delta Hospital is hosting an all-candidates forum on Saturday, April 29 at Tsawwassen United Church (693-53rd St.) at 2 p.m. The event will focus on the state of health care in South Delta.
