High School Placement Test Workshops
Prospective students are invited to attend one or more of our Appreciation Nights, showcasing some of our extracurricular activities, including fine arts and athletics. Any prospective student from any grade level who attends will • Hear from the coach or director before the game or performance. • Receive a De La Salle T-shirt. • Receive a food voucher. • Meet with De La Salle school representatives. •Watch the game or performance from VIP seating.
Boys and girls have the opportunity to participate in a Prep Course to help prepare them to take the HSPT this fall. The Prep Course is two days long: two consecutive Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
Available Sessions: • Friday, October 11 – Football at Wayne State University, 7 p.m. • Sunday, December 8 – Christmas Extrava-BAND-za at De La Salle, 6 p.m. • Saturday, December 14 – WAMS production of Clue at De La Salle, 2 p.m. • Friday, January 17 – Basketball at De La Salle, 7 p.m. • Saturday, January 25 – Hockey at Mt. Clemens Ice Arena, 6 p.m. • Thursday, February 20 – WAMS production, Nice Work If You Can Get It at Sterling Heights High School, 7 p.m.
As part of the registration fee, students will receive a copy of the Peterson’s Mastering the Catholic High School Entrance Exams 2020. This workbook will be a tool used during the course and contains additional pre-tests students will be able to use at home. Register for the workshop at thepilothangar.com.

Enjoy refreshments and take a tour of the school. Teachers, administrators, coaches, and moderators will be on hand to answer questions.

Pilot for a Day Visits
De La Salle’s Pilot for a Day program gives prospective students the opportunity to experience a typical school day at the Collegiate by shadowing a current student. In order to give shadow students the best experience possible, reservations must be made. Prospective students are paired with one of our student ambassadors.
Coffee Talks
Prospective parents are invited to visit the campus and share a cup of coffee with members of the Admissions and Counseling staffs. Held on the first Thursday of the month at 9:30 a.m., coffee talks do not have a set agenda or topic and are truly meant to be a casual atmosphere for the parents to learn about the opportunities for their son(s) at De La Salle. 2019-20 Coffee Talk Schedule: • March 5 • November 7 • April 2 • December 5 • May 6 • January 9 • February 6
