To All IDEFA Board of Directors;

I would like to take this time to first of all Thank You as officers and BOD’s for your generous appreciation of my contributions for the work that I was able to serve as a Secretary / Treasurer for the Indiana Deer and Elk Farmers Association.

Though at times the going got rough and decisions weren’t always easy, I have been blessed with a lot of learning over the past 6 years and enjoyed the term(s) that I was able to serve. I strongly feel my experience with IDEFA has grown me to a platform that gives me further opportunity in life in which I am very thankful for.

My 2nd term is coming to an end as a Board of Director and with a lot of thought and some deep consideration with my family I have made the decision to not run for my seat as an Officer/Board of Director again at this time. I have a longing to see our state association continue to flourish and I’m confident that the trend of growing # of memberships will continue. At this time I would like to point out as well that I will continue to participate, support and to promote the mission of IDEFA.

To All Members;

I would like to recognize & thank all the members for your participation as well as contributions & leadership in making our Gun Give-Away Fundraisers very successful year over year. This is a big undertaking every year and we were able to sell out every year for 5 years. Thank You! for all your hard work.

In addition, we have the annual spring fundraiser with the addition of our 1st fish fry in 2017 in conjunction with the fundraiser, which seemed to be well received and I see that being a trend that will continue to grow over the years and could become a big portion of our fundraiser that fosters an outing of fun, food & fellowship for the whole family. I always look forward to this event every year and enjoy the fellowship, friendship and fun this fundraiser brings every year, and as always just enjoying the evening and talking about deer. Thank You! for all your hard work.

I would also like to thank the Chupp Brothers at this time for all their donated time for this auction. Their contribution and lively auction atmosphere is a key to our success every year! Thank You!
