Curt Ellis Mechanic

Curt has been with the Deerfield Park District for an impressive 17 years. As a Mechanic, he ensures that our equipment is in top shape.

In addition to his role as a mechanic, Curt takes on additional responsibilities such as concrete finishing, pool maintenance, and irrigation repairs. He has been married to his wife Joan for 38 years, and they have two adult children, Eric and Kelsi. Curt resides in Kenosha, WI. Curt enjoys riding motorcycles, snowmobiles, and go-carts. Curt shares, “I’ve worked for a park district most of my life, and I enjoy it because I get to work outside and use my skills to help better the community.

Jewett Park offers multiple playgrounds, skate park, pavilion with outdoor fireplace, athletic fields and more. The Community Center is home to our Preschool; Early Childhood Programs; Deerfield Dance Studio; Cooking, Art and Ceramics areas; District Administrative offices & Registration. JPCC also offers rental opportunities.

The 18-hole course, practice range, learning center and Pro Shop meet all your golfing needs. Visit the FORE Restaurant and Bar after golf for food and drinks. Maintenance Center

Located in Deerfield Park Plaza, west of Waukegan Road & south of Lake Cook Road. Our 100,000 sq ft facility houses a Fitness Center with cardio equipment and weight training rooms; dance room; indoor track; pool; tennis courts; a racquetball court; three gyms; indoor cycling studio; Mind-Body Studio; Jungle Gym Training Studio; & more! This truly is a fitness and recreation destination for everyone. Meeting rooms and party areas are available for rental.
