Dd REGALO ARTIST PORTFOLIO

Dd Regalo (b. 1984, Canada) is a contemporary Canadian artist currently living and working in London (UK).

“I like it messy. Raw. A little loose around the edges…I want people to feel my work as much as they see it.” - Dd Working in an urban infused abstract style, Dd’s art is known for its expressive gestural marks, textures, and powerful compositions. Inspired by the human experience, both physical and emotional / personal and collective, his paintings often combine images, text and abstract forms in mixed media.

Now based in London for the last 3 years, Dd exhibits regularly, dividing his time between the studio, street murals and live painting events. He recently painted a large scale mural live for London Design Week and his work was auctioned at Christie’s London for a charity event earlier this year in April.

Dd has lived and worked internationally including Australia, China, USA, UK and his native country Canada.
