Juniors and seniors from Greensboro High School are paired with a young adult or collegeaged mentor with the goal of creating lasting relationships between mentees and mentors and helping prepare students for life after high school.

At Person2Person, young people from all over the state are invited to learn about and discuss race relations in Alabama. Participants learn about the history of race in our state, explore present-day social justice efforts, and discern as Christians—how to actively promote racial healing today.

In honor of Leslie Manning, who served as the Director from 2008-2016, Sawyerville is proud to offer an educational scholarship for former campers and counselors from Hale County, AL. This scholarship fund supports former participants as they work towards a degree in higher education or professional certification.
