As the industry has discovered, the cloud delivers unparalleled agility, efficiency and innovation, but only when implemented through a clear cloud strategy that aligns the organization’s mission with the deliverables and benefits of cloud technologies. Capgemini helps clients accelerate that strategy development and associated decision-making process through the use of the ASE. Our ASE-based approach is a leading practice in the industry and has proven successful in helping clients reach decisions and align technology initiatives with business goals through a 2 to 5 day ASE event, as opposed to 3 to 9 months using traditional methods.
In preparation for your ASE for Cloud event, our team will help set the stage for your DesignShop® by working with the various participants and stakeholders in your organization. We want to understand, “What would you like to do if given no shortage of resources?” This allows us to focus on the fundamental mission of your organization.

PROGRAM CONTEXT: Your ASE for Cloud session is normally part of a larger program effort. Think hard about how it can condense project timelines and accelerate results. Use program materials as input to minimize extra effort. SPONSOR PLANNING MEETING: Several weeks out, sponsors meet to carefully articulate scope, objectives, participants, and preparation steps. Don’t under-invest in planning! DESIGN REVIEW: Periodic planning calls to review and iterate the ASE-developed agenda and finalize input materials. PREP LOGISTICS: Invitations, participant logistics, speakers, and assembling input materials all need to be managed. DAY zero: Have a final event design walk-through, assigning breakout teams and reviewing breakout instructions — this is your “dress rehearsal.”
