I have a passion for learning, and I am a heavily goal oriented, responsible, hard working, and responsible individual. My current objective is to hold a career in architecture, obtain the LEED AP certification, project management certification, CDT Certification, and to expand my portfolio with the world as my classroom. I made these drawings during summer 2022 using a huion kamvas trying to learn more about design, acquaintances wanted some portraits of themselves and family members, which I did. I used mostly crosshatching

Warming Hut

This project is based on an assignment which instructed us to simulate a design competition which was on the great lakes, of ice fishing, the concept is to try and design a warming hut, which had to have minimal weight, but yet reduce the harsh conditions of winter in an open space, to provide relief and brief pauses to the competitor in this ice fishing competition. No electricity allowed.
My design is based on two concepts, Igloos, and sunlighting. The way I inspired myself with igloos is that I encapsulated the inner space by making a small opening, easily accessible which would block out incoming wind, and the wind would be facing against the stairs, not going into the space, then this same space would be heated up by exposure to the sun via a slit which would provide maximum lightning without compromising infiltration of cold air, the holes on top are to ensure ventilation so air does not stagnate. All of this assisted with insulated walls.

House April 2022

Project
The main idea behind this project was based of off a wall we had designed and an attempt to showcase that wall. This was an assignment on my Design Studio on spring 2022 in Austin Community College, taught by Morgan Slusarek. The requirements of the house were based on a limited space, plus an outdoor space of 1/3 the area of the house, totaling to around 800 square feet.
