George Miaoudis, who has been assisting Centre Management with their Marketing and Promotions Portfolio for the past four years, has recently taken on the role of Marketing and Promotions Manager. During this time he has achieved a better quality of tenancy and added to the value and appeal of the the centre. With a Certificate in Real Estate Property Management, Certificate 3 in Finance and a Graphic Design background, George is keen to continue his success in promoting the Village Shopping Centre. It is a shopping complex with the lot, including a Coles supermarket, Snap Fitness gym, discount chemist, medical centre, book store, hairdresser, and Toko Jo Fashions clothing store. Laser Dentistry has been an important part of the Casuarina Village Shopping Centre for 13 years. Established by Dr KE Ong, Laser Dentistry continues to offer clients the latest in general and cosmetic dental practices. “We are a very friendly, family orientated practice that caters for everyone,” says Laser Dentistry Practice Manager Dr Prellie Racines. Arafura Medical Clinic at Casuarina Village now offers bulkbilling services from 8am to 9pm. Dr Lionel Crompton is the lead doctor and will be training newly recruited doctors during bulkbilling appointments. The first Arafura Medical Clinic opened at Humpty Doo in December 1997, followed by Oasis Shopping Centre, Palmerston in August 2005. Casuarina Village and also a practice at Howard Springs followed in August 2007. This group of practices is owned by Dr Lionel and Mrs Pat Crompton. Dr Crompton is the Director and Practice Principal. Arafura Medical Clinics can offer the services of 16 permanent Doctors, who represent a diverse collection of cultures and skills. It also have six nurses, an in-house children’s doctor, and a gynaecologist. There are also visiting diabetes educators, an audiologist and a psychologist.
