Welcome to the July-December 2018 edition of Darwin Life magazine.
This edition’s cover features someone very close to my heart. Brendan Southwick is celebrating a successful 10 years of business operating Crossfit Territory, delivering a high-quality product that has stood the test of time. He is relentless and I am proud and in awe of his tenacity and determination to stand out from the rest, a testament to his continued success (page 38).
We continue to focus on the importance of supporting locally-owned Territory proud businesses who are the backbone of our local economy and employ many in the Top End; from café start-ups like Colquhoun’s Coffee (pg220) to Darwin stalwart Jape’s Furnishing Superstore, who are celebrating 40 years of business (pg24). From plumbers and builders to community organisations, schools and charities, the diverse mix of industries and services within the Territory continues to grow to meet the ever-expanding demands of locals.
