SPITFIRE GIRLS
Tilted Wig and Mayflower Southampton presents Spitfire Girls by Katherine Senior Inspired by remarkable true events 'It's built for us, isn't it? The Spitfire. Built for women.'
New Year's Eve, 1959. Decades after answering the call, two women separated by the war meet again as the rain hammers down on the windows of The Spitfire pub.
As we hear their story, we're transported back to a time when female pioneers defied expectations and soared through the skies.
Spitfire Girls is inspired by the extraordinary true stories of the women who dared to fly during WWII and the incredible bond that tied them together.
Funny and heart-warming, this is an untold story of strength, courage and loss. But above all else, hope.

Renowned American parapsychologist Doctor Roy Earle, famous for discrediting hauntings and exposing fake mediums, is invited to attend a seance in Blaine Manor, said to be the most haunted building in England.
However, Earle’s arrival awakes something horrific within the manor’s walls. As a raging storm closes them off from the outside world, Earle and his companions find that what is waiting within the manor is not nearly as horrific as what has entered with them.
In the spirit of M R James, England’s most accomplished ghost story writer (Casting the Runes, Whistle and I’ll Come To You My Lad, The Haunted Doll’s House) and with a nod to the classic black and white film classics of Columbia Pictures, Metro Goldwyn Mayor, Universal Pictures and 20th Century Fox, O’Byrne’s award winning production is a love letter to both the Golden Age of Hollywood and the Hammer Horror Era.

Anne-Marie Casey’s masterful new adaptation of Little Women breathes new life into one of the best loved novels of all time.
Step into the world of sisterhood, courage and ambition, as the March sisters - tomboy Jo, beautiful Meg, sensitive Beth, and spoilt Amy - navigate the challenges of the Civil War era, forging unbreakable bonds of love and family.
Inspired by author Louisa May Alcott’s own journey into womanhood, Little Women is as relevant today as it was at the time of its first release, proving that women can be bold, persistent, self-assured, and the heroes of their own story.
Following the recent success of the Greta Gerwig film, this beautiful new adaptation is a celebration of women, filled with laugher, tears and a theatrical, heartwarming lifting of the spirits.
