In the key Brand Specialist role, I provided critical analysis, advisory and design collaboration with creative agencies and the marcomms team on the development and implementation of QIC’s corporate brand identity, including:
• Brand style guide, aligned to the Brand & Corporate Communications Strategy.
• Maintenance and creation of brand templates and graphic & image libraries.
• Advisory on brand usage and execution per Strategy and Guidelines.
• Collaboration on developing and executing ongoing content and collateral creation and graphic design outcomes across a range of formats and channels, including web/digital, intranets and SaaS products, video, events, thought leadership papers, brochures, visual imagery, reports and all internal and external communications, aligned to communication strategies and plans, including lead accountability for various creative and brand marketing projects and campaigns.
The evolution of the brand focused on the adjustment in business strategy and delivered an intrinsic re-defined purpose UPS, reflected visually with a bright and diverse colour palette, while holding fresh yet rigid layout structures & typeface hierarchies and a rich image bank to deliver a tired, 90s style-centric look and feel, into a modern, vibrant and professional global investor brand.

QIC’s social media presence was stagnant and had low engagement. As part of phase two of QIC’s re-brand implementation, I provided creative direction and prescriptive briefing, collaborating with external creative agency to create a library of corporate social media templates that was a major contributor to the significant increase in engagement statistics and growth in followers on LinkedIn (as the core channel for the corporate and investment industry).

Knight Frank - Brand Refresh Projects (2018 & 2021)

As part of a global brand realignment Brand Refresh in 2018 and the EVP / CVP Brand Refresh starting in 2021, I collaborated on the design and provided invaluable technical expertise on the development, implementation and ongoing delivery of a new brand environment, including brand look and feel, press ads, signage, online advertising, social media, websites, and libraries of standardised brand document templates (including Capability Statements, IMs, Proposals, Property Summaries, CVs, extensive icon libraries etc.), and the development of the technical corporate guidelines. I also assisted as a subject matter expert in due diligence, setup, testing and implementing a new media and advertising agency and platform in alignment with the launch of the brand refresh.

The contribution Daniel has provided as part of our Brand Refresh has been invaluable. Daniel has picked up all overload work (on top of his workload) when other team members were snowed under, and his technical knowledge has been outstanding. Daniel has played a vital role in the Creative Services team throughout this project.
