ACCOUNTING Start your business career with a degree in accounting. Regardless of what industry you’re interested in, the beauty of accounting is that the skills you’ll learn—enterprise-wide perspective, focus on performance and strategic information management—are relevant to every organization. The result? Accountants are as in demand as ever and career opportunities are plentiful.

GUIDING YOU TOWARD SUCCESS Make Your Degree a 4+1. Earn both a Bachelor and Master of Accountancy in five years or less with our dual-degree program. You’ll focus your degree on one of our three specialty tracks: Assurance, Accounting Information Systems & Data Analytics or Business Valuation—or create your own. Your Core, Your Network. Our cohorted “core” program structure has an average student to faculty ratio of 15:1. Translation: you’ll develop strong bonds with students and faculty alike, creating strong ties that extend far beyond graduation. Prep for the CPA Exam. Gain the specialized knowledge to pass the Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) exams. In 2018, our students passed all four parts of the CPA exam at a rate 16% higher than the national average and 88% of our students passed all four exams on their first attempt.

APPLYING TO THE

DANIELS COLLEGE OF BUSINESS

Apply to Daniels by indicating business as an intended major on your application to the University of Denver (DU). A number of qualified students may be granted direct admission to Daniels when accepted to DU. Students not directly admitted will complete prerequisite coursework in their first year at the University, and then apply for admission to Daniels through the secondary admission process as an enrolled student. Transfer students will be individually evaluated based on incoming credits, GPA and submission of a professional résumé. You will work closely with your academic advisor through this process.
