COHEN
Daniel Allen Cohen is a Miami-based contemporary artist renowned for transforming popular culture into thought-provoking conceptual art. Self-taught and driven by a desire to explore society’s intricacies, Cohen’s work dives deep into themes like fame, addiction, wealth, and modern luxury. His groundbreaking series, “This Is Addictive,” reimagined societal vices as elements of a periodic table, cementing his place as a pioneer in merging humor, critique, and culture. His work is celebrated for its bold satire and intricate details, from the luxurious icons of his “Gilded Icons” series to the biting reflections in his “Periodic Table” pieces. Cohen’s art has been exhibited globally, from major art fairs like Art Miami to renowned galleries, and collected by prominent collectors, Delta Airlines, famous musicians, professional athletes, and more. Balancing wit and commentary, Cohen invites audiences to reflect on the blurred lines between desires and values in a consumer-driven world.
Artist Statement 2024
As an artist, my work delves into the intricate relationship between society’s values and desires, reflecting on how modern culture navigates concepts like fame, wealth, and addiction. My aim is to challenge and explore these themes with a playful, satirical lens that blurs the line between critique and admiration. I’m drawn to the paradoxes within our consumer-driven world, where luxury and vice often intertwine, and I aim to create works that inspire viewers to question their own perceptions and priorities.
Through series like “This Is Addictive,” which reimagines vices and addictions as periodic elements, and “Gilded Icons,” which recasts modern figures of power in royal grandeur, I seek to use familiar cultural symbols to provoke new conversations. My work is both a mirror and a magnifying glass, offering an accessible yet nuanced look at the tensions between status, materialism, and authenticity. By blending humor with critical thought, I strive to make heavy subjects approachable and encourage deeper introspection about the narratives that shape our collective experience.

G ilded Icons
In Gilded Icons, Daniel Allen Cohen reimagines contemporary figures of influence and power as Renaissance royalty, drawing a striking parallel between past and present. By placing modern personalities in the context of historical grandeur, Cohen invites viewers to consider the evolution of free speech and the reverence—or scrutiny—afforded to today’s icons.
This series challenges us to reflect on the consequences of criticizing figures in power, reminding us that only a few centuries ago, dissent could lead to severe repercussions. Gilded Icons serves as both a tribute to influential figures and a poignant reminder of the freedoms we now hold dear, blending satire with homage to explore the cultural weight of status and authority.

Still Life Oil Paintings
Daniel Allen Cohen’s Still Life Series revitalizes the traditional art form with a contemporary twist, drawing inspiration from the Dutch Masters while replacing classical symbols with modern markers of luxury and status. In these works, fruits and flowers give way to stacks of cash, designer goods, and fine dining elements, creating compositions that reflect today’s fascination with opulence and excess.
Each piece critiques and celebrates our cultural obsession with wealth, offering a mirror to the extravagant objects that define our aspirations. By reinterpreting the still life genre, Cohen invites viewers to question the values and desires that shape our society, using timeless artistic techniques to make a thought-provoking statement on the allure and impermanence of material wealth.

Return To Me
R“A collection inspired by the sensory details, simple pleasures, and timeless beauty I encounter on my travels.”
eturn to Me is a collection inspired by the sensory details, simple pleasures, and timeless beauty I encounter on my travels. It’s the hum of an idling engine, the scent of home-cooked food, the soft murmur of foreign conversations, and the warmth of laughter fading like the last rays of sun. From crowded beaches to the quiet solitude of a balcony, every experience connects back to a sense of beauty and pleasure.

Collaborating with Feeny’s Photo on this project brings a nostalgic quality that feels deeply personal. Combining the heritage of photography with today’s technology, we capture moments that blend the past with the present. My own passions for classic cars, vintage cameras, and historical architecture find new life through this collection.
Every summer spent wandering Europe satisfies a hunger for adventure and an endless pursuit of beauty—each visit filled with new beaches, quaint cafes, unfamiliar tastes, and friendships that redefine the joy of community. These experiences and ideals align with the nostalgic essence of Feeny’s Photo, a reminder to worry less, enjoy more, and always chase life’s simple pleasures.

Kourosh Keynejad
Kourosh Keynejad is a British-born photographer based in Los Angeles, California. Kourosh’s deep desire to see this planet’s beauty and experience it’s cultures led him to years of adventurous solo travel to many of the farthest corners of the world. This ultimately led to his lifelong passion and professional career as a photographer. As a global citizen, he captures the world’s most magnificent sights, and offers them to us in a way that makes us feel a spark: the moments that connect all human beings to each other and to the natural world.
His talent is his eye – for these moments and for the subjects he portrays; with his intimate focus on his subjects, we as onlookers are able to immerse ourselves in the passion underlying each image. Kourosh’s driving passions are environmental conservation, cultural awareness, human diversity, and our interconnectedness. He plays with light and color to create evocative, searing imagery that permeates the soul of the viewer, and deeply resonates the themes and messages that drive his work. This is his art. By transporting us to the untouched corners of our planet, Kourosh’s photography uniquely inspires his audience by showing us a world we think we may have seen before, but have never truly noticed.
Metamorphosis
Daniel Allen Cohen’s Metamorphosis series transforms global currencies into delicately hand-folded origami butterflies, presenting a thought-provoking narrative on the evolution of money. Like a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly, money is evolving— and in some cases, flying away from us. The work reflects on the impact of inflation, the rise of credit cards, and the shift toward digital currencies.
As businesses increasingly abandon cash in favor of credit, debit, and digital transactions, the series questions how far we are from a world where central bank digital currencies, cryptocurrencies, or digital dollars dominate the financial landscape. Metamorphosis invites viewers to consider the fleeting nature of physical currency and the ever-changing value systems shaping our economic future.
