PARTIES FOR KIDS
All parties start with a warm-up to get your little ones relaxed and ready to move, followed by some fun games to get them into the party spirit! The tutor will then create a routine to your child’s chosen song which will be performed for parents/carers at the end of the session.
Price: £250
Duration: 1 hour
Capacity: Up to 20 children
Extra children may be accommodated at an additional £10 per head
(Excluding Aerial Antics, which has a max. capacity of 16)
Catering: A sweetie bag is provided per child

The Corner space can be booked to use after your party at £45 per 1.5 hours. Tables, chairs and a boom box are provided, and you are free to bring your own catering.*

Twirling Tots – Let your imagination run away whilst you move, dance and play. Perfect for under 4’s to share with their parents/guardians.
West End Wonders – Set to a song especially chosen by the birthday boy or girl from their favourite musical, this fun session will take you straight to the West End.
Urban Funk – Dance the time away to popular music and the most up-to-date commercial tunes, from Hip-Hop to Street, you decide.
Breaker Bairns – This party will have you Breaking, Locking, Popping and Hip-Hopping around in style to the baddest tunes in town.
Pirouetting Poppets – Let your little poppets come along and learn how to pirouette and jete like a Ballet dancer with a mixture of turning, twirling and imaginary games to help them along the way.
Aerial Antics – Reach and soar among the stars in this aerial party where your little ones will learn how to use the hoop, swing and trapeze! (There is an additional charge of £50 for this party).
Please note, parents/carers do not remain in the room during the session with the exception of the Twirling Tots party for under 4s.
PARTIES FOR GROWN UPS
Whether it’s a hen or stag do, a big birthday bash or you just want something fun to do with your friends, a party at Dance City is the perfect way to celebrate.
Price: £250
Duration: 1 hour
Capacity: Up to 15
Extra attendees may be accommodated at an additional £12.50 per head
Catering: A glass of Prosecco/bottle of beer per attendee

Street Dance
Let your inner Street Diva burst out, dancing to the best tunes by chart topping royalty. The routine will equip you with a combination of steps from music videos and new choreography and promises to be fun fast and fierce.
Musical Theatre
Set to a song especially chosen by you, this session will take you straight to the West End. You will learn the choreography from the show the song has been taken from so that you can then wow your friends and family. It is guaranteed to get the party started.
Burlesque
Have fun, feel glamorous and discover your inner femme fatale with a workshop led by our Burlesque expert. The workshop covers the basic of posture, posing, walking and peeling, all rolled into a simple and sexy burlesque routine.
Come fly with us**
This party offers you the chance to create fantastic shapes on the trapeze, to spin in the hoop, and to dance upside down in the cocoons and on the silks! Bring costumes and cameras!
**This party plan has a 2 hour duration and is priced at £350. Maximum capacity is 14, no additional attendees can be accommodated.
CHRISTMAS PARTIES
Enjoy a Christmas glitter ball at Dance City, and jingle the night away to all of your favourite festive hits. Whether with friends or colleagues you’ll learn a fun dance routine which is sure to impress Santa and his elves.

At the heart of The Seven Bridges lies a deep commitment to empower WERS clients through training and development opportunities, whilst also being a window into WERS clients’ cultural communities, where events from poetry to song will become a feature.
The Seven Bridges can provide a range of catering packages and bespoke solutions for your visit, as well as being open to the public for breakfast, lunch and snacks.
Private dining, external catering and delivery are all also available.

OUR LOCATION
A world class facility in the heart of vibrant Newcastle.
Dance City benefits from a central location in the city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, just 0.3 miles from the train station and within easy access of the A1 and A19.
Parking:
Parking directly outside Dance City is limited to staff only, however if you require accessible parking or "drop off" time please speak to our ticket office to arrange. Public parking is available in Grainger Town Multi storey car park, situated right next to Dance City on Waterloo Street - this includes accessible parking.
Travelling by car:
Sat Nav postcode - NE1 4BR
Follow signs for Newcastle City Centre. From St James Boulevard/A189, turn onto Westmorland Road/A186. Take the first left onto Waterloo Street where you will find the entrance to Grainger Town car park, or turn left onto Peel Lane where you will see Dance City straight ahead of you.
By train:
We are just a 5 minute walk from Newcastle Central Station. Exit the station and turn left on Neville Street. Walk along until you see Centre for Life on your left opposite its entrance archway there is a pedestrian crossing, cross over and head left. At Premiere Newsagents turn right onto Waterloo Street and head straight. On the second left turning head left up Peel Lane and you will see Dance City ahead of you
By public transport:
There are buses and a central metro line in Newcastle which reaches out to the coast, Gateshead and Sunderland. The closest metro station to Dance City is Central which is located within Newcastle Central train station or St. James' which is near St James' Park football ground. Monument station is located more centrally in the city and is just a short walk away.
On foot from Monument station:
We are just a ten minute walk from the main city centre.
Starting at Greys Monument head left towards Blackett Street, Boots Chemist will be on your left.
Continue straight and you will see Next on your left. At the pedestrian crossing cross over and continue to head straight on towards Gallowgate.
Follow this path, passing St James Park on your right. Continue straight and you will arrive at Dance City on your left hand side
