Estreme, surreali, ambiziose, assolutamente uniche. Che si tratti di una chiesa, di una casa o, magari, di un semplice lampione o di un comignolo, poche opere riescono a plasmare e a divenire simboli stessi della città in cui sono inseriti come quelle che Antoni Gaudì ha costruito a Barcellona. Sarebbe riduttivo dire che il grande architetto catalano con le sue idee rivoluzionarie abbia lasciato segni indelebili nel paesaggio urbano della città, Gaudì ha realmente cambiato il volto di Barcellona, innalzando anche case private o oggetti di arredo urbano al livello di autentiche opere d’arte o luoghi da visitare a tutti i costi.
Extreme, surreal, ambitious and absolutely unique. Whether it is a church, a house or, maybe, a lamppost or just a chimney, not so many artworks can shape and become themselves emblems of the city where they were built as the ones Gaudí built in Barcelona. It would be reductive to say that the great Catalan architect left indelible marks in the urban landscape of Barcelona with his revolutionary ideas. Gaudí changed the face of Barcelona truly, raising also private houses or street furniture objects to the level of authentic pieces of art or worth-visiting places.
