These gardens are standing room only; no chairs are provided. The rental period is one hour, and all setup and cleanup must be completed within that timeframe.
Admission is included for all of your guests Bridal suites and changing rooms are not included with intimate garden rentals, so please arrive dressed and ready to say “I do”

The Boswell Fountain can host up to 20 guests. It is available to rent seven days a week, year-round, at 9am for a 1 hour rental.

The England Family Garden can host up to 20 guests It is available to rent seven days a week, yearround, at 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm or 3pm, for a one hour rental

Orchid Hollow can host up to 10 guests It is available to rent seven days a week, year-round, at 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm or 3pm, for a one hour rental

Poetry Garden can host up to 10 guests It is available to rent seven days a week, year-round, at 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm or 3pm, for a one hour rental

Secret Garden can host up to 20 guests. It is available to rent seven days a week, year-round, at 9am for a 1 hour rental.

The Grotto can host up to 10 guests. It is available to rent seven days a week, year-round, at 9am for a one hour rental.

The Pulpit can host up to 10 guests. It is available to rent seven days a week, year-round, at 9am for a one hour rental. The Pulpit is closed for rentals until mid May 2026.

Karen’s Gazebo can host up to 28 guests. It is available to rent seven days a week, year-round, from 9am-11am, 12pm-2pm or from 3pm-5pm, for a two hour rental.
Rental Rates:
Peak season (March, April, May, October, November, December): $2,000
Off-peak season (January, February, June, July, August, September): $1,500
Lower Meadow can host up to 120 guests. It is available to rent seven days a week, year-round, Sunday through Friday from 11am-1pm or 2pm-4pm and Saturday 9am-11am or 12pm-2pm, for a two hour rental. Lower Meadow is closed for rentals until October of 2026.

Magnolia Glade can host up to 80 guests. It is available to rent seven days a week, year-round, from 9am-11am, for a two hour rental.

Garden can host up to 50 guests. It is available to rent seven days a week, year-round, from 11am-1pm or 2pm-4pm, for a two hour rental.

A Woman’s Garden can host up to 200 guests. It is available to rent Sunday through Wednesday, yearround, from 4:30pm-6:30pm, for a two hour rental.

Crape Myrtle Allee can host up to 300 guests It is available to rent Sunday through Wednesday, February through October, from 4:30pm-6:30pm, for a two hour rental

Bigham Overlook can host up to 150 guests. It is available to rent Sunday through Wednesday, year-round, from 4:30pm-6:30pm, for a two hour rental

For the Intimate Ceremony Gardens, one hour access to the ceremony garden. For the Classic Ceremony Gardens and the Grand Ceremony Gardens, two hours access to the ceremony garden. All vendor setup and cleanup must occur during this time. One table of your choice for a guest book. A linen is needed and not included.

An Event Facilitator who will be onsite during the duration of your rental time They are solely responsible for overseeing your vendor load in/out and keeping the garden private They are not wedding planners We highly encourage you hire a planner to ensure the wedding goes smoothly
Admission for all guests and vendors on the wedding day Your vendors do not count towards your guest count
If hosting a ceremony in a Grand Ceremony Garden during our evening hours, depending on the time of year, you may need to add, at your expense, outdoor lighting. Garden Tents are available for rentals in Lay Garden, for an additional fee, at your expense. Tents are booked through our exclusive vendor, Big D Party Rentals. We are a non-profit, so we do not charge tax or service fees. We do charge a 3% convenience fee for payment by card. If your event goes beyond your contracted rental time, you will incur an overtime charge of $200 or more, to cover staffing fees
Amplified music (DJ or live music) is not allowed during the daytime per the City of Dallas noise ordinance String music or a small blue tooth speaker is allowed as long as the volume level does not exceed 55 decibels
Vendors must load in using their own carts and will only have access to the garden during the designated rental time
No golf carts will be provided for the mobility impaired guests. Wheelchairs are available at the information booth, at the main entry.
We are a “ no open flame” property, meaning we do not allow any smoking, fireworks, sparklers or any other open flame property. Only battery operated (LED) candles are allowed.
The following are also not permitted: tacks, staples, tape, awnings, gazebos, balloons, birdseed, rice, confetti, streamers not attached to a stick, and artificial rose petals. If you use rose petals on the ground, they must be real petals and white or ivory in color. All petals must be picked up or you will incur a $250 cleaning fee
The City of Dallas does not allow changing in the public restrooms, meaning you will have to arrive dressed in your wedding attire
The Dallas Arboretum is not responsible for providing a backup rain plan option for wedding ceremonies. It is up to the client to provide a contingency plan, whether it be umbrellas or a ceremony offsite. If we do have an indoor or covered space available, we may be able to accommodate, but this is not guaranteed We do allow one complimentary postponement if you wish to reschedule due to weather Garden choice is subject to availability
From mid-September to the first of November, there are pumpkins in select locations around the garden. We try to keep these in the main public areas and away from wedding ceremony sites.
During Holiday at the Arboretum from mid-November to early January, we do have holiday decorations displayed throughout the garden.
During our Dallas Blooms Season from the end of February to early April, we have tulips all throughout the garden
While our venues operate as private event spaces, the garden reserves the right to remain open to the public during a contracted event. In such instances, all areas included in the Client’s rental agreement will be clearly marked and stanchioned off to ensure privacy and minimize disruption. Public access will be restricted from these designated areas, and the Venue will make reasonable efforts to preserve the atmosphere, privacy, and overall experience of the event.
Once you are ready to secure your date/venue we will need to collect specific information to draft your contract Once we receive this information, we will send over the contract for you to review and sign.
To secure the date, we require the signed contract plus the full rental fee. Payments may be made by credit card, cash or mailing in a check. If using a card there is a 3% convenience fee.
Once you have signed the contract and made your first payment, your next steps are to start securing your vendors. As your wedding date approaches, your Wedding Sales Manager will reach out to gather your final guest count and vendor information.
If you would like to visit the venue prior to the Wedding Sales Manager reaching out, we can provide you with 2 complimentary tickets for a self-guided garden visit, any day after 2pm, as long as the garden is available.
Below are suggested vendors. While we highly recommend them, you are not required to use them.
