Exclusive Interview with itsPaulBrown – After Patrick Riddick from Netflix’s Voices of Fire says he will be the official ‘Campaign Motivator’ to itsPaulBrown’s Album Campaign @itsPaulBrown

Q: Can you tell me anything about the Album/EP? The first thought that came to mind when I completed all the songs on the EP was “What Genre Is This”? That is where the title came from because while I can tell you that the project really represents me as a person. I am hoping to find the answer as to what it is from each and every person that listens to it.

Q: Do you have a favorite song on the Album/EP? That answer can change every day, it just depends on what mood I’m in.

Q: Any features on the project?

I steered away from doing many features on this project due to the project having so much importance built around representing who I am as an artist and as a person. I will mention that Dejon Underdue from 3x Grammy Nominated and Dove Award winning production company Hallway Productionz, played a significant role with the Mix & Mastering of the entire project. I only have two features on the entire project, SingLikePhilly (an artist based in the 209 Stockton area) and TeeFlii (most known for his debut single “24 hours” feat 2 Chainz).

Q: Why do you want to be famous?

Great Question! It’s not that I want to be famous. It’s that I want to prove to myself and to everyone else, that anything is possible when there is no luck involved and you just simply put in the work to convert a goal into an accomplishment. It’s more so the influential opportunity that comes along with being famous, I’m most interested in and looking forward to.

Q: Why did you want a ‘Campaign Motivator’?

Outside of being accountable to myself and fans, I wanted to incorporate an extra set of accountability. While at the same time, always have encouragement for the days I may feel mentally defeated.

Q: Where does your inspiration come from?

My daughter Alivia Bobbie Brown, born January 6, 2021.

Q: How did you get Patrick Riddick involved?

I watched the Netflix Documentary Series called “Voices of Fire” and thought he was extremely charismatic and carried a natural desire to want to bring out the best in others. I quickly found him on Instagram and was successfully able to set a meeting with him to present my project. I am a firm believer that things do not just happen, you have to knock on doors and be vulnerable to hearing “No”. With his schedule consisting of family, work, church & music (including being the Choir Director of The Choir signed by Pharrell Williams, Voice of Fire). I am extremely appreciative for him being excited to go through this journey with me.

Q: When will your Album/EP Release & The Campaign Begin?

Though I am not planning to utilize the most common platforms that listeners use: iTunes, YouTube Music, Spotify etc. It will be available on digital platforms on March 4, 2021. However, I will release it directly from my site www.itspaulbrown.com prior to that date and primarily direct people to download it from there.
