(AP) — Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens, already facing a felony charge related to an extramarital affair, could soon face another felony count after the state‘s attorney general cited evidence Tuesday suggesting that Greitens’ use of a charity donor list for political purposes may have broken state law. Attorney General Josh Hawley said an investigation by his office shows that Greitens took computer data listing the top donors to The Mission Continues without the consent of the St. Louis-based veterans’ charity he had founded and used it to raise money for his gubernatorial campaign.

Hundreds of people came together to fight cancer at last Saturday’s Adair County Relay For Life. Held at the Kirksville Primary School, the event was one in a series of Relay For Life assemblies across the globe this year. Though each Relay For Life gathering is unique, they all share common goals. Each event works to raise money to help find a cure for cancer as well as to assist those affected by it. “The purpose of the event is to raise money for American Cancer Society so that one day we don’t have to hear the word cancer,” said Lacey Scheurer, event lead. “I’ve lost a lot of people really close to me. I couldn’t take their pain from them, I couldn’t take the cancer from them, but I can help raise money to try and find the cure,” Scheurer said. Saturday’s event included a variety of activities with the relay at its heart. From 1 p.m. until 1 a.m., team members took turns walking around the makeshift track.

Massive sums of money from lobbyists and wealthy campaign contributors have pushed political influence out of constituents’ hands and into those of special interests, according to a reform group proposing amendments to the Missouri Constitution it says will return rightful power to voters. Clean Missouri is currently gathering signatures and bipartisan support for its amendment proposal to appear on the November general election

Probst thanked the efforts of local law enforcement agencies, first responders and NEMO Heart Health for ACAD’s success with the rate. “Two year ago, we set out to improve the outcome of patients that have sudden cardiac arrest within their homes. The likelihood nationally is under 40 percent that you would survive a sudden cardiac arrest SEE COUNTY, 12
