Both city and county law enforcement recently made arrests in the burglary of commercial storage buildings. Billy Mullins, 33, of Thomas Street, Corinth, was arrested by the Corinth Police Department and charged with burglary of a commercial building. After his release on bond last week, he was picked up by the Alcorn County Sheriff’s Department and charged with two counts of burglary of a commercial building. Sheriff Ben Caldwell said the county also charged Lisa Langston Null, 43, also of Thomas Street, with two counts of burglary of a commercial building. Capt. Dell Green of the Corinth Police Department said an investigation found Mullins was allegedly stealing items from the North Side Mini Storage on Polk Street and selling them through social media. The county burglaries occurred at Oakview Storage on County Road 602 and Kossuth Mini Storage on County Road 618 in October and early November. Caldwell said the sheriff’s office executed a search warrant at an apartment on Thomas Street and recovered several items stolen from the storage units.
